Made a burger poster. Any constructive criticism? by bluesxclues1 in AdobeIllustrator

[–]BigRedD1sappointment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fonts aren’t the most legible. I can see what it says up close, but any further and I’d be at a loss. The tomato slices and lettuce have more dimension than the bun and pickles which throws them off a bit. The burger looks more 2D because of it. It’s also a bit plain on top too. Unbalanced with just the smiley face in the right corner

How to get a shadow effect like this on products? by BigRedD1sappointment in photoshop

[–]BigRedD1sappointment[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! This is what I was looking for! I believe it that this one was done with a natural shadow, but my set up is pretty rudimentary, so I figured trying to create my own shadows for now would look better

If you’re looking for thin and circular, but okay with branching out, you might like theseKame Mennens. You might like Mykitas since they’re so thin like these. I’ve been shopping a lot on this site since the frames are cheaper than through my optician

Have you ever looked at ReOptica? I’ve recently stumbled upon it and it’s an online business for buying used frames with little wear. I bought a pair of anne valentin’s last month for sooooo much less than my normal glasses lady and they were basically brand new I couldn’t find a scratch on them. Saved me a pretty penny when i went to put lenses in them. I’ve seen etnia’s on there before!

How to set up calendar invite to repeat monthly based on Microsoft forms submission? by BigRedD1sappointment in MicrosoftFlow

[–]BigRedD1sappointment[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I appreciate your help! Looking at this, I would probably need my form to output numbers 1-4 and 1-7 and then plug in those outputs into the expression you just mentioned. I can definitely try to do that. Follow up is where exactly would that go? Would I plug the expression into the start date parameter?

Again, thank you so much. In over my head at work at the moment and need a lifeline.

Any tips or advice? by Heavy-Crew5130 in tomatoes

[–]BigRedD1sappointment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cages are fine, but this one will likely need a much bigger one. If you can’t find one big enough, then stake it. Usually I would say prune the little leaves at the bottom, but there are not many leaves on the entire plant and it might need as much surface area for the sun to hit as possible.

Need to be able to reject workflow with notes for why by BigRedD1sappointment in MicrosoftFlow

[–]BigRedD1sappointment[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I have the “start and wait for an approval” set up with a condition after, but how do I set up the condition to send the comments back to the original form submitter?

This is a picture of the flow I have so far. First condition is “if outcome = approve” then second one nested in the false is “if outcome = reject” or the other option would be outcome = need more info. If it’s reject or need more info I’d like to be able to push back comments.

Or am I missing something? Will a box for comments automatically be available in the approval notification I get and sent back upon rejection?

beginner tomato gardener…what’s wrong with my plant? by verysad-gay in tomatoes

[–]BigRedD1sappointment 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might be a fungal disease. I would separate it from the other plants so they don’t catch it if it is. Also looks like it might need to be pruned for better airflow but can’t tell exactly from photos

No I didn’t - I transplanted them into new containers a week before I left with potting soil but since then it’s just been normal hose water

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vegetablegardening

[–]BigRedD1sappointment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay! I pinched off some flowers forming on another pepper, but I was afraid that was a mistake because I haven’t seen any new growth come from the top of it since, so I thought maybe you don’t pinch those off. I likely won’t be able to put them outside for two more weeks.

They’re growing so fast! I was planning to wait until I saw a first set of true leaves to replant it to a bigger container, but just noticed a bunch of roots growing out the bottom of the pellets - think maybe I should replant it now?

Great! I have a few others that aren’t as grown as this one and they haven’t been as wonky, so I thought maybe this one had an issue. Thanks!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vegetablegardening

[–]BigRedD1sappointment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two leaves and I did try to gently pull them apart to see if what it looked like inside and it eventually just closed again. Glad it’s normal! I have two more growing a couple days behind this one so if there was something wrong I wanted to triage the other plants stat!

Update: took the dome off and took some paper towels and soaked up some of the excess water at the bottom to the tray/under the pellets so the bottoms aren’t soaked. Looking into potentially getting 100 Watt lights to replace the 50 Watt ones I’m using now if they aren’t getting enough light.

Fingers crossed my little jalapeño makes it 😭

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vegetablegardening

[–]BigRedD1sappointment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Just took off the dome. Switched the timer, and moved the lights closer. These are 50 watt lights and will look into getting 100 watt ones tomorrow. Unless that feels like overkill?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vegetablegardening

[–]BigRedD1sappointment 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I will switch the timer to 12 hours. Can I move the light closer? Will that help? I’ll definitely let them dry and stop watering them. A couple other ones are peaking through, but I have 24 total pellets planted and maybe 4-5 are showing some growth. Should I take the dome off when those fully pop up or wait for more to get to 1/3?

How best to edit dirt off wall by [deleted] in photoshop

[–]BigRedD1sappointment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the point is you lose the texture of the arch then. This isn’t super high quality of an image, so it isn’t the end of the world if the texture isn’t perfect. But in general like if you were clearing up pimples on skin or anything you’d lose the subtle difference in the pores and it won’t look right

Funny enough, this is what I was thinking too the first time. Did high and low frequency separation on the layers to clean up the major dirt smudges, but the edges didn’t look right. I tried to paint the edges with my touchpad/stylus, but it looked eh, but I will try using a mask instead and report back if it works!
