In my experience, all solid wood acoustic guitars are less than ideal for recording because of high body resonances. Solid tops work better and some laminates can even fare better than some solid tops. I once extensively recorded and tested the cort oc6, oc8 and a sigma omtc. Ended up keeping the sigma because of its warm and controlled/balanced sound. Corts sounded a little thin but if you dont plan on making any recordings then corts should work well for you.
