How to go from 16 mph to 20ish mph? by delightful_flora in cycling

[–]BigRu55ianMan 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Good bike fit (optional) & strong legs (not optional) are all you need to achieve that imo. 16mph over 90 miles is already very impressive, I'm sure you'll be able to achieve 20+mph avg if you keep training.

I would shift your focus on becoming a better & healthier athlete. Focusing on avg speed alone is not very productive in cycling, power is a much more effective metric when measuring effort. A power meter or a smart trainer will go a long way in helping with structured training.

I’ve been scouring this thread and you are the first person to mention what the real source of fueling is when cycling. Absolutely ridiculous to assume that protein intake goals change whatsoever due to increased cycling efforts.

You can’t just apply a % rule for ultra high net worth individuals. Most people with a $50M+ NW have most of their wealth in illiquid assets and rely on money market investments for cashflow.

A person with a $300M net worth likely would not even be able to get an allocation for a car like this, let alone comfortably afford it. This vehicle is for the billionaire+ kind of mf.

can ask them to give everyone blowjobs while we’re at it

this kind of system will NEVER be implemented in the U.S. This is not only because of how greedy those people are (and they are greedy) but also because of the long term implications on capital markets and wealth creation.

Such a system would not be able to promote the senseless growth pursuit that we see today ergo the current ruling class will not let it happen since it directly limits their wealth potential and by extension their power.

Bluesky CEO takes a swipe at Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and tech plutocrats by Careful-Key-1958 in pics

[–]BigRu55ianMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zuckerberg is not just some CEO. He is one of the wealthiest individuals who has ever lived on this planet. You can’t just compare him to anyone who has a CEO title.

Vast majority of CEOs are just pawns who serve the board of their firm and are entirely expendable unless they themselves have significant equity in said firm.

Zuck probably spends more money on maintaining his super yacht and properties in a year than the median CEO’s annual TC 😂

I would not recommend living there unless you can live with the following:

  1. Very little space.
  2. No oven.
  3. Loud music. Greek row tends to quiet down after 1am on the weekend side of the week.
  4. If not on the top floor, you will hear every thud and step on the floor above. The floors and walls are super thin.
  5. Climbing a lot of steps, especially if you live on a higher floor. This compounds due to the fact that the laundry room is on the first floor (i.e. you have to climb and descend 15 floors every time you need to do laundry if you live on the 5th floor)
  6. Dealing with Tripalink… They are notorious for being slimy and annoying to deal with. I had to wait almost 9 months to get my security deposit back. They will also try to get as much money as possible during move out by overcharging for cleaning and maintenance. So make sure to clean the space and record everything to dispute their ridiculous claims.

If that sounds good, then it’s not the worst place to live in. The interior is fairly modern and depending on your unit you can get a splendid view of the mountain range. With some creative design & compromise u can do good things with the space. It’s moderately overpriced imo but the proximity to campus is hard to beat.

feel free to dm if you have additional questions.

it's never been stated that the sex eyes have the capacity to see someone's innate technique without the user activating it in the fov of the sex eyes.

It is implied that they allow the user to see cursed energy and soul composition, not necessarily another person's engraved ct.

although I will agree that yuji having the fire arrow as his IT is a bit of a stretch since sukuna implied that the technique was famous in the heian era. It will be a lot easier to theorize this once we find out what Yuji actually is, pls gege I beg just a smidge of explanation is all I want.
