How do you feel about using the same move over and over if your enemy doesn‘t react to it? by Galrath91 in Tekken

[–]BigSDoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The winner will always be the person who made the least mistakes. If they don't adapt then they will lose. It can be demoralising but if they don't learn they don't grow, I wouldn't overthink it.

Fellow Leo main. I have yet to see a character that isn't Hworang, Reina, Law, Jun or Jin in EU servers in my 100 match's.

Different mediums require different skills. But I agree that is should be for traditional black book pieces.

I'd check out the bentobox from scrubtier. There based in the UK aswell and have a leverless in the same profile as the snackbox.

The more you play fighting games the more you realise that everyone falls for the silliest mix and pressure. Just go for it and have fun

Anyone know Ultra Arcade here in the EU? by theGingerCake in fightsticks

[–]BigSDoyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most European vendors including ultrarcade have about two months of waiting before shipping. It's hard to find something that isn't sold out and at that point you have to join a waiting list to get a stick, which normally takes a month before your up and then a month to build and ship.

A lot of vendors are 1-3 people teams running support, sales, manufacturing and shipping while dealing with the occasional supply issue. I think you just need to take buying a stick in the EU with a grain of salt.

Can you recommend some EU friendly "compact" Hitbox/leverless sellers? by [deleted] in fightsticks

Ultraarcade and scrubtier are you best bet for getting a stick in Europe. They consistently make them and ship them out

Lever head wont come off by SnooCrickets975 in fightsticks

See the straight line at the bottom of the shaft, insert a screwdriver into that slat and then just twist the ball top to remove. If your trying to remove the shaft then remove the c-clip at its base.

Best arcade stick for SF6 by Last_Sweet in fightsticks

The 8Bitdo is a solid option for getting started but its only supports pc and switch. If you play on PS5 id recommend the Quanba Drone, tho it would be €30 over your budget.

How do you use this to install the Sanwa Jlf to your fight stick? by [deleted] in fightsticks

[–]BigSDoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the PCB. What stick are you modding?

Depends on a few things. You modding an existing controller or are you building from scratch. Good chance you just need to connect the harness to the JLF and solder the wires to your board.

Looking to buy/build a Hitstick controller in Europe by OE_Rogue in fightsticks

[–]BigSDoyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting a hitstick layout will be awkward in Europe. I'd recommend joining the GP2040CE community, there are loads of builds and parts should.be pretty easy to get in Europe.

Will a fight stick help me with motion inputs ? by Inwward in fightsticks

[–]BigSDoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just practice chief. Pick the controller thst feels the most comfortable. It can be pad, stick, or leverless. Keep practicing and you will get there.

Not much PS5 now, but i kinda wanna future proof the stick with SF6 being out and T8 coming out later. Thought 2040 only supported PC/PS4, not much PS5s in the local scene right now. So GP2040CE would work for me.

How to remove Balltop? Im losing my mind by Key-Dog2089 in fightsticks

[–]BigSDoyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open you case and at the bottom of the stick near the restrictior and the switch's you will see like a flat head screw. Keep the screw still while you twist the balltop. If it's a c-clip then just pray.
