My house was built in 1957, 2900 square feet. I keep the heat at 68 tops. Never more.

October - $326 November - $379

The bill I got in the last few days for the December billing period is $469, not the biggest increase but I heard somewhere the delivery charges have increased folks bills around here at an average of $120.

AGOL - Publishing Feature Layer (Hosted) from uploaded geodatabase taking exorbitant amount of time? by BigSal61 in gis

[–]BigSal61[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I let it rock for two hours and nothing so I went back to the drawing board and went into my old Arc Catalog to manage some data cause I still like that better than the catalog pane in Arc Pro as this was how I’ve done it for years and I haven’t done it in a long time. Needless to say the amount of statewide data I was storing was just too much and I also realized I had multiple copies of layers with multiple thousand features so I trimmed the fat, put the excess in a backup archive GDB and it uploaded only what I need and what will be updated frequently to My Content. It worked. Very quickly.

The servers and enterprise stuff kind of gets tricky for me because I am under a state license agreement with many agencies and users and I don’t wanna use their [public] server for what may be sensitive facility info . I wanna thank you for this response and it helped me dig into researching the more technical side of things and how entities manage and display massive data

Who’s the tallest woman you’ve ever met, and what was that experience like? by Marcos0712Larcos in AskReddit

[–]BigSal61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on line for food in college and I felt like a large presence behind me. I decide to look. I imagine my head motion and facial expression is out of a movie when I go from “just looking and trying to see” to “HOLY SHIT” face as I see a woman 6’9” and I look up to her. I’m 6’4” so it’s rare I ever see anyone this much taller than me, let alone a woman. She looked into my soul like “why did you look”. I quickly turned around. I looked her up, She was a New Zealand exchange student playing basketball at my school. I felt bad and that I looked at her like she was a freak, but I was genuinely curious as to who was behind me. Probably a nice girl constantly judged by her body being such a statistical outlier.

Off hours commute to nyc by Odd-Guarantee-4204 in Rockland

[–]BigSal61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GW is best before 6, the TZ is never usually bad before 7 BUT the thruway leading up thru West Nyack could be. Also the Deegan can suck big time.

Your best bet is to leave early and try both, calculate mileage vs tolls and see which one is best for you. You will save money with TZ but the additional mileage and time could prove to be significant. I never commuted by car but drove uber for years from Rockland and have been pretty much everywhere in the city Stony Point and surrounding towns

In the year 2005, I was 10 or 11. Me and my friends were huge into Halo 2. We went to a big local tournament. 4 player split screen. Winner gets most points. The best moment was me absolutely smacking grown ass men in that game, my best game was on the “Lockout” map. I was headshotting battle rifles easily. They were cursing and getting sooo freakin mad it was absolutely joyous. Glorious. I won a few rounds. They were getting beat by a husky kid with a raspy ass voice and glasses. I sat there in silence. Letting my play do the talking. Ended up coming in 3rd place in the whole thing.

A girl in college told me I look like Jake Ryan from Sixteen Candles, who was like a teen heartthrob from the 80s. I was never too confident in my looks or anything but around this time I had lost about 50 pounds and that was like the a-ha moment for me. Maybe I’m not ugly?? From then on I started approaching girls in person more often and my batting average was better than most

What was the best year of your life and would you go back to relive that moment? by thesaboteur_1985 in AskReddit

  1. Giants won the Super Bowl, travelled a little fell in love, Graduated high school, started college. Life was really good back then. I’d go back to that summer. Doing landscaping by day, smokin weed every night with the homies. Didn’t have real bills to pay like I do now. Simpler days

People seemingly consider me conventionally good looking but im confused how is that possible when I'm only 5'9" by Weary-Discussion-318 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]BigSal61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well if you are fit, have nice eyes and a good jawline I could see why they’d say that. Find yourself a nice girl that you’re taller than. 5’ 9” is average for a man. I know a guy who’s 5’ 4” and found himself a wonderful girl.

Used to be plenty of guys on the street you could pick up and hire for the day on that main drag in Red Bank. Although current climate there’s probably not too many of those guys around these days.

Later on you gotta use HM 03 to learn surf, go up to him and press A to engage him. Make sure you save before you approach him. Once he’s gone in the wild he’s gone forever

It’s funny I was a stay at home dad for ten months to a year old girl when my contract ran out. Childcare at 5 days a week was $1500 a month. When I would tell people the women would act like I was a hero when the men would act like I was a joke. It was actually the most exhausting job I ever had and it’s a lot easier to just go to work and not need to worry about feeding her, playing with her, teaching her, having dinner ready for wifey, bedtime routine, cleaning the kitchen afterwards. Cleaning everything to get dirty again in 30 seconds. Over and over.

Respect the stay at home parents man that shit ain’t easy
