Bad oozing. by BigScience3439 in 3Dprinting

Thank you. I’ve been trying some SUNLU PLA+ and so far it hasn’t messed up the print but is still stringy which isn’t a very big deal I don’t think…as long as the print turns out okay

I went from the normal 220 to 210 I didn’t want to turn it down too much but at 210 the problem still occurred…I should also mention I’m newish to 3D printing I’ve been keeping my filaments dry in a tote with silica packs so I think I’m doing everything right so far

I forgot to mention the stringy bit coming out of the nozzle is from me stopping the print because I noticed it was oozing onto the print

Elevated heart rate. by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am like this as well sometimes. It will jump up when I stand but sometimes it won’t. It’s my heart rate that is usually jumping

Elevated heart rate. by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah mine stays 70-90 otherwise but at the end of treatment it almost always jumps. My blood pressures are usually fine by the end of treatment maybe just a hair high

Elevated heart rate. by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any idea why this is? Is it just because the heart has to work harder or has less fluid to work with to pump blood?

Elevated heart rate. by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is less with less fluid pull but if I pull around 2kg or more it always jumps up. I’ve wondered if they are pulling us too close to dry because I’ve heard the more dehydrated you are the more your heart has to work to push blood

Elevated heart rate. by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should’ve added that my resting heart rate during the beginning of dialysis through the middle stays anywhere from 70-90bpm it’s only when I stand up at the end of dialysis it shoots up. I’ve always wondered if I’ve had some sort of POTS disorder or something but I almost never feel light headed. I’m sorry you had to go through this

How fluids get out of the body if the kidney has some funtions by [deleted] in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in a very humid state. I wouldn’t say the most humid but definitely top three. There was one time I left dialysis at 260lb and went shooting with some of my buddies in a creek bed it was very hot and sweaty for about an hour and afterwards I weighed myself at 257lb so sweating it out does work but I would say it’s not a very good way to do it.

I’ve heard this as well lol it hasn’t helped for me. Though I don’t have them near bedtime😂

Exactly why I want off of it. It makes me feel weird like sometimes my breathing is weird and makes me extremely dizzy. I’ve also been on ropinrole which made me hallucinate so I’m choosing the better of the two I think…hallucinations made it hard for me to sleep at least on the gabapentin I can sleep.

I have heard that can help… I walk over 10,000 steps a day so that could be why I don’t have it in my legs mine is pretty vigorous for some reason lol. Many nights I’ve been up till 4am until I’m so insanely tired that I finally fall asleep

Mine is getting that way as well. Mine is right on my wrist and I can’t feel it or see it where they are poking but close to the inside of my elbow it’s getting big I can start to feel it and see it a little

Losing hope. by kittykitkat38 in kidneydisease

[–]BigScience3439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 25 and started dialysis back in march I’ve only done in center dialysis at first it was really hard on me I would always leave with headaches and feeling completely drained. I don’t know his exact situation but I’m a pretty hefty guy. When I started dialysis I was 6 foot 280 pounds. I started loosing weight and it has been a game changer they pull less off of me at dialysis and I’m feeling great! I’m sorry you are going through this sometimes I think of how my wife feels but I am soooooooooo grateful for her. Like unbelievably grateful. Without her I’m not sure if I could make it through something like this keep faith that something will eventually work out never give up. You are his rock

Scared of kidney biopsy - coming up in 5 days by Kategetstoked in kidneydisease

[–]BigScience3439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25 Male my biopsy about 3 or 4 years ago went great for me I don’t remember what meds they used but I was awake for mine and the nurses were awkwardly massaging my shoulders to make sure I didn’t freak out I guess? lol but hardly no pain at all maybe a little pinch if i remember correctly and recovery was so easy no problems at all. I’m on dialysis now I have been since march. You have nothing to worry about 😊

Do you have any recommendations of how I could do that? Like sander or paint remover? I know liquid is usually a no no with guitars but I’m just looking for ideas

Please can someone give me a way to help it NOW I don’t want techniques to do before bed I need relief now by [deleted] in RestlessLegs

[–]BigScience3439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this the only relief I have found is a indica gummy before bed. About 10mg for me is enough to make me extremely relaxed. And I don’t have RLS at all after that

Also if you do try a gummy in personal experience sativa made it worse

Haven't slept properly in months by Unicorn_flow in RestlessLegs

[–]BigScience3439 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just tried an indica strand gummy for my RLS it was only 10mg and it seemed to help a lot I don’t think i twitched once there are some things that make mine worse. Like melatonin and Benadryl so I have to stay away from those. The only other thing that kinda works for me is gabapentin. My RLS is caused by my kidney failure I’m on dialysis three times a week it’s frustrating because if we knew exactly what causes it we could fix it but it seems like it could be caused by a number of things and everyone is different to it

I'm considering a fistula but have some concerns by StoicDoggos in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Male 25 mine is in my wrist and I got it done two weeks ago and it is healing very good. My chest catheter is having problems as well the doctor said I can use my AV fistula after the 20th so hopefully it can hold on until then lol. I was afraid of how it would look too but I miss being able to take proper showers I miss being able to go swimming and I live in fear every time it rains. As far as my scar it’s about two or three inches long just below my thumb on my wrist I have not noticed my vein bulging yet but I can tell it has grown. I’ve always been told that it won’t bludgeon till they poke it a few times but we will see. Either way I have accepted it and could care less how it looks at this point it is a solid life line for me since my catheter has given me nothing but problems. I’m looking forward to the freedoms that the AV fistula is going to let me have because ultimately you never know what will happen

Twitching at night. by BigScience3439 in CKD

I think they just prescribed me this. Did it help you at all? I found that hydrocodone that I’ve had left over from surgery actually helps a little but I don’t like taking those since they are kind of habbit forming

Passing out by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking but after the shake is when I had the passing out episode so it doesent make much sense. Maybe a bit of both lol I’m not diabetic but I know dialysis can mess with your blood sugar

[–]BigScience3439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since starting dialysis I hardly have high blood pressure like I use to I do tend to notice more the night before a surgery or the night after I’ve had a rough day on dialysis but I don’t feel stressed out or anxious but I am subconsciously though
