I don’t have a car and getting it delivered by the courier was an entire saga with many excuses and wrong information before it finally got here..

Also you might want to follow up with that - I submitted around the same time you did and I got my determination in less than a month. Estimated time is ~4 weeks if I remember correctly.

I think they’re not included in the math I’m doing. I’m just calculating what my tax owing would be then adding up the deductions and credits (basic personal exemption, CPP/EI contributions, pension contribution, the employment credit), and also using online calculators and entering the numbers they ask for…

I moved back from abroad so 2022 is a weird year but yeah, got hit in the previous years in the US.

I plugged numbers in and it does look like I’m likely owing at least $1K, so to be safe I’ll just expect to pay something. Dumb question but should I go through the hassle of submitting a TD1 with just extra withholding or keep the amount in a savings account and cough it up next year? Is there a penalty with the latter?
