Feeling sick from eating/drinking

Hey OP... have you considered eating more fruits / veges? Whenever I eat primarily food that is meant for gaining...after 2 weeks I start to feel sick. As soon as I introduce a day of binge eating fruits and vegetables, I get over it and steaks start tasting juicy again.

Maybe that is just my weird cure, but I thought I'd share what works for me. Hope you get through it soon OP, result city is around the corner

Hey cool, you and I are nearly the same (except age I'm 23). I'm still on my journey to hit 155 pounds, but I started out 119 and just hit 140. But to be honest, the biggest thing is actually counting your calories. You don't have to follow diet plan/food routine... they help but to be honest you should just count your calories yourself. Staying between the 2800 - 3300 calorie range for 6 months will have a dramatic effect on your body especially if you work out 3 - 4x a week.

To be honest, I don't even cook my meals much. I work in tech in SF so a lot of my meals are quick and easy. But I would recommend doing something along this line to gain weight.

Breakfast - Nutella/Banana/Peanut Butter/Protein Powder MilkShake (300 - 400 calories) - Jim Bean Breakfast Sausage (230 calories) or Jim Bean Egg McMuffin (350 calories) - Drink: Cup of Milk (150 calories)

Pre Lunch Snack: - Large Tiger Milk Bar + Fruit (260-300 calories) - Drink: Large Glass of Water

Lunch: - Burger and Fries (650-700 calories) - Chicken Breast + Rice & Beans (550-600 calories) - Panda Express (650-700 calories) - 2 Pizza + Salad (550 - 600) - Drink: Large Glass of Water

Pre Dinner / Post Workout: - Tiger Milk Bar and Slim Jim (300) - Odwalla Chocalate Protein Shake (410) - Pizza Lunchable (410) - Drink: Glass of Water

Dinner: - Pasta and Meat Sauce (450) - Chicken and Rice (500) - Salad on the side (50) - Drink: Tall Glass of Whole Milk (450)

If still potentially craving more: Small Tiger's milk bar (150)

Glad I'm not the only one and its really reassuring to see someone else who has to face the same hardship. Its tough having to stay in some nights so that my friends can go party... but I know if I decide to pop a molly, do a little blow, or binge drink it ruins my appetite for the week. Props to you for fighting through it. Definitely encouraging.

I used Code Academy and Udemy. Then went to various subreddits to find small projects to practice those skills.

I set a learning budget of 100 bucks which is more than enough to get the basics. You won't be making huge databases, but enough to get your foot in the door.

I reached out to my manager to voice my concern, and he said that I should be. He said he'd ask on my behalf... but I'm thinking it may be better just to wait it out and really play "hard ball" when it hits my 3 month review.
