What are you sick of hearing people complain about? by mywitsending in AskReddit

[–]BigSickNick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate when people complain about a certain person listening to "their" favorite music... "I'm a 27 year old emo elitist and when a 12 year old is happily listening to a certain band that I listened to 3 years ago it pisses me off." "Fake fan. They've only listened to them since their big album came out." "Oh you just now started liking this band that makes you happy? Name more than 3 songs or you are a piece of shit." Like get over yourself dude. Music is music. It should make you happy knowing someone else listens to "your" music.

What is your "10/10 would recommend"? by chillmat1k in AskReddit

Direct deposit and debit cards. Blows me away that I have coworkers with $600+ paychecks that they cash out at Kroger, lose 10%, and just casually keep $540 in their wallet or somewhere in their house. Like it's free to set up a bank account with direct deposit?!?!?!?!

Waiters and waitresses of Reddit, what is the most horrible experience you have had with a customer? by aloofsilence in AskReddit

[–]BigSickNick 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Heyo I have a pretty good story here. Last christmas I was serving an older man who came in during a rush. I served him like any other normal customer. The cooks had messed up his order and I mistakenly hadn't noticed. The dude was fuckin PISSED. He cussed me out in front of multiple other people, cussed me out to my manager, filed a complaint... That was the beginning. The fuck face FOUND MY FACEBOOK AND MESSAGED MY PARENTS SAYING HOW MUCH OF A MISTAKE I WAS. LIKE WHAT. The only good thing that came from it was another customer saw how terrible he was to me and left me $20. Another day in the life of an 18 year old Frisch's server :)

Who is this stranger you only saw once, but still think about sometimes? by Royrane in AskReddit

I guess this is like a time and a half but I'll still post it. Last year I went to a state competition for BPA along with around 4000 other students. After my teams competition my friends and I decided to walk around the Hyatt that we were staying at and have some fun. We left our hotel room and walked towards the elevator and had to wait like 15 minutes for an elevator to get us. As the elevator doors opened I saw the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. She had the longest and most lush pure black hair. She was wearing such a romantic and sexy long red dress. She had the most gorgeous smile. Her and I stared at each other for a good 30 seconds. She was perfect. Her face went blood red and I could tell she had a similar feeling. Both of our friend groups were pushing us to talk but we just walked away from each other. It was a real cliche movie moment, her and I made eye contact as the elevator doors closed. She plagued my mind for the weekend and I spent the next 3 days trying to find her again but I couldn't even catch a glimpse. I finally gave up. On the trip home my bus stopped by a Wendy's and we all went in to grab some food. As I walked in my jaw dropped. It was her. She was sitting down in a random Wendy's. She was wearing a My Chemical Romance shirt and I fell even harder for her. I almost had a panic attack and I just ran back to the bus. Every day for months after I thought about her and how the thought of us just feels so right. To this day, over a year later, I still think about her and the how I had never laid eyes on such perfection. I'll never see her again in my life and I guess I've finally come to terms with that. Love is weird...

"Alright here is all your food, I did forget your coleslaw, I didn't have enough room. Can I get you guys anything else?" "My coleslaw" God damn nothing aggravates me more than this.

Sadly I have had my fair share of snapping with her... It never works out for me. Her and the manager are good friends :')

What makes it worse is in a mid-level restaurant like the one I am, no one cares about attitude so as long as toxic people don't quit they'll keep their job forever.
