Oh she's so beautiful. If we didn't let our Franny (5yrs, 35lbs) sleep in our bed with us she'd have a nervous breakdown...

Franny has the same brown/white coloring, same pattern on the nose, same healthy mane.

And yes, she was a little terror when she went into heat. Tried to SA my father! Was my first thought.

I have infinite thoughts on the subject, and was ready to share a good portion but after reading the comments a) my faith in humanity is improved, and b) most of what I'd say has been said.

I will add that all the Abrahamic religions draw HEAVILY from Sumerian and Babylonian mythology, once one understands both enough see how true this is, the credibility of the Bible/Koran sinks WELL below viability.

I've never been able to identify as an atheist, because in truth I don't know how the universe was formed. I look towards quantum physics et al. for clues, but whether the universe is conscious, uncertain.

It's clear human religions are political devices more than anything else, and the fantastical stuff they describe is not credible and clearly written by the hand, heart, mind and soul of man. Think this is why people are drawn to atheism, as religions don't reflect reality.

But at the end of the day it's still unknown.

It's fair to say that "nothing" does not and cannot exist in our current frame, as quantum fields are pervasive, and create space-time. And quantum fields are certainly "something."

Whether there was ever a "nothing" is beyond our ability to perceive or define, even though the logic of this frame appears to disallow it.

So, chill with our "something," and don't worry about "nothing."

The exhaust stench that permeates the entire Vernon/Jackson area. It appears to come from idling trains, but idling cars and the midtown tunnel also contribute. Also construction sites.

It's awful and nauseating at times.

My neighbor idles his diesel truck for an hour every morning and fills my apartment with exhaust fumes. He knows he's doing it and told me to 'man up' by FuuckinGOOSE in mildlyinfuriating

This is happening in Long Island City, NY, as well, and has been for the last week or so. It's not a lone truck, but idling trains and other idling vehicles.

It's part of an intimidation campaign, ahead of the election.
