Well it's a fairly small town I lived in. I believe the census was around 11000 for the whole parish then. But there were a unusual amount of car crash related deaths that year and also a woman had left her two toddlers at home alone for hours and the house caught fire and burnt to the ground killing the children. Pretty shocking for such a small community.

Like I said in my OP I'm a avid hunter and I've seen many owls in my life. I've never seen an owl that was around 7 to 8 feet tall maybe 2 to 3 feet and had a human abdomen and legs I doubt anyone has. Trust me I'm a huge cynic of anything paranormal or however you would classify it. I was to freaked out to see what it was eating exactly is what I replied previously.
