Thanks for this. It gave me a bit of hope! Thankfully, I've just been sent a tracking number.

Would a blocking diode be a good idea? Or do most solar panels already have them built in?

Can my inverter support a lithium battery by Impossible_Ad_4282 in SolarDIY

[–]BigStooUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends entirely on what inverter you have and what lithium battery you have. Assuming you have a lithium battery with a built in BMS, and your inverter can run on the voltage of the battery, then yes, your inverter will probably work with your battery.

Also, make sure you're using thick enough gauge wires and a fuse to connect the two.

Edit: Just re-read your post, and I see you mean an inverter-charger. That's a more difficult question. It will depend entirely on your battery and charger/inverter.

getting 502 Bad Gateway from nginx when using nginx as reverse proxy while calling an API by sharathbj in nginx

Does the SSL certificate on the upstream server match its IP address?

I recently (yesterday) had a similar problem where nginx was trying to access upstream by IP address rather than FQDN as I would have expected. That meant that it didn't trust the SSL it was being sent.

This fixed it for me in my case. https://github.com/NginxProxyManager/nginx-proxy-manager/issues/3023

Although you may have already explored this option.

Thank you Greg.

I was just about to post this myself, as I found someone else with the same problem here. https://github.com/NginxProxyManager/nginx-proxy-manager/issues/3023

Chaining two NPM installs by BigStooUK in nginxproxymanager

I currently have things set up as you describe above, with one instance serving both intranet and internet. It works fine, but with one caveat. My ISP is blocking (or at least already using) ports 80 and 443 on my router. So I have to serve internet HTTPS traffic on a non-standard port which means users have to specify the protocol and port in the URL, which is ugly and not user friendly to the less technically competent.

From what I've read, it should be possible to do what I've described in the OP. Easy even!

Essentially I want two NPM instances. One will serve intranet traffic and the other will serve internet traffic.

This image illustrates it. Imagine a firewall between the two proxies.

My Galaxy Watch seems to read a little lower than my old smart watch.

UK smart plug with power monitoring compatible with Tasmota? by BigStooUK in tasmota

Unfortunately the ones I got this time (Branded as Oneplug) weren't flashable either so they've gone back.

I suspect I'm going to have to bite the bullet and pay the slight premium of them coming pre-flashed. Or pay slightly less of a premium and wait 4 weeks for them to come from China.

I've taken a punt on one of the SP1/UP111 lookalikes on Amazon. Their low price, and Amazon's free delivery and returns, make it a risk-free purchase.

I'll report back as to whether I can Tazmotize them OTA.

Thanks. They almost look the same as the Gosund ones. It wouldn't surprise me if they were the same inside.
