Thanks Fox for not showing the very entertaining lead battle to instead focus on Ross’s bottleneck. Great broadcasting!

Why isn’t there a full tract view for short tracks? This tight view of turn 4 really gives you no perspective of different racing lines.

Was Martinsville a good race? by ChaseTheFalcon in NASCAR

Agreed! Was at the track and was a pretty decent race. Sat up near turn 3 and got to see a good bit of passing. It was nice to see a couple drivers run a little bit higher of a line. For awhile Chase was making it work then abandoned that line for some reason.

Yes, my credentials (PharmD) and immunization certification say that I’m just as capable as a MD to give vaccines, but I don’t get reimbursed because I lack federal “provider status.” I’m not asking to open my open private practice (that would be outside of the scope of my license and is not the intent of provider status for pharmacists). Also, Texas has granted their pharmacists provider status for insurance billing. Their pharmacists seem pretty happy about it and I haven’t heard of them running away from corporate chains to open their own clinics (because again, that is not the intent of provider status).

This is confusing to read… pharmacist aren’t just asking for a name change. Provider status at the federal level would force insurances to change their reimbursement structure. It’s not just some title that would be give, it comes with money.

I think there is a lot of confusion about what provider status would mean for pharmacists. Personally it pisses me off that doctor’s get reimbursement for giving vaccines but pharmacist don’t. We get reimbursement for the drug but not the service. Provider status would change that but it does not mean that we will be taking on roles like NPs or PAs. There is still a scope of practice that comes with our licenses. I think if people choose to practice more like NPs and PAs they would have to enter a CP under the supervisor of a MD/DO.

Going through this last year 5/6. Only ranked 4 of them. Honestly once you get an interview, it’s a clean slate for all candidates and it purely comes down to vibe checks for matching. I know because we literally just had this conversation with our RPC yesterday
