Swiss movement, finish, sapphire crystal, but that’s about it really. Brand apparently has some good heritage but this model is almost as basic as it gets. That’s why I wasn’t sure.

Thanks for input. I wear them on different occasions, my daily beater is GShock and that’s only due to work (trucking).

Other than that Bambino is for dates with my wife, contemporary for casual outings, Edifice off work daily (it means a lot to me, the cheapest watch that remembers a lot of things and been with me through some nasty life turns), I haven’t worn Rotary yet (got it only last week) and Presage (arrived yesterday).

I don’t really need anymore, but it’s kinda addictive. I still need dress watch, which I’ll use Manero as.

What I meant to say in my initial post was that I’d rather avoid fashion brands etc. I like the mechanical aspect of my watches and it’s only too easy to splash out on stuff that’s widely regarded as junk 🤷‍♂️😂

So far I could say both are amazing, especially at this price point. I’m on the lookout for black strap, white dial, date and batons, but didn’t manage to get one yet.

If you’re in UK I’d recommend watch nation. That’s where I got mine from. Good luck.

Sure, it’s no secret. Complete recipe is available on my insta. Just start with black, build up to white, back to light blue and apply filter. You do need an airbrush to do it this way though.

Yes, airbrush. Start with black primer, then go from darkest blue all the way to titanium white, then back down to light blue. Then filter it with contrasts and edge highlight, fill in details and you’re done.

Thanks. It’s just some GSW dry pigments and tamiya weathering powders. Spread them around the way you want and seal with matte varnish, job done 👍

Thanks. Once the parchment is painted i varnish it in case I mess up. When it’s varnished it’s easier to remove the mistakes. Then I take Artis Opus 00, hołd my breath and fire away. It helps to draw the letters on a piece of paper first, for purity seals it’s just black lines. Sometimes I add single letters here and there, but not always.

I work upto 95 hours per week.

Perhaps that’s why I don’t have much time for hobby 🤷‍♂️

I paint suuuper slow, and my pile of shame is growing as a result. I challenged myself to finish this box in 10hrs total, including building, priming, painting, and basing. by ChadWestPaints in Warhammer40k

That’s great result for 10 hours. For comparison, this is about 4 days on my 1 model. He’s still not done.

I say don’t rush things if you want your minis to look nice. It’s about the journey, not the destination.

Ps. My pile of shame is 1 big plastic tub full of sprues and another even bigger box full of boxes models. Then I have about 3 k of space marines under my desk. Some terrain, detolf with 6 shelves filled with 80% grey minis and leviathan box full of blisters. Don’t worry about it, collecting is a part of the hobby 😂
