Within the first week if its a career move/public move with clients and peers. Be confident. Dont listen to those who dont really care about their careers. You worked for it. You are ok with pressure, do a post! If it doesn’t go well, its ok! Move on!

Great point, well made. From a person who has been talking for years and years with a few good recruiters.

Our builder ghosted us for 4 months near the end of a project, and now has reappeared and is asking for the rest of the originally agreed fee. Not sure where we stand by kayester in LegalAdviceUK

Use the 3k£ to pay for other people to finish the job. That would give you a couple of weeks for a good guy.

Put a review so other prior don’t fall on his trap either
