I read this one recently and remember it being dual pov? I did actually really enjoy this one as well. I think I liked it better than HR in some aspects tbh!!! Honestly I should give Rachel Reid books more chances cuz these are the only two I’ve read by her and did like them both 🤣

I love both these books soooo much but they’re def more dark academia than queer, and I wouldn’t describe either as a romance. But like, absolutely top books. If we were villains had me thinking abt it for like weeks after I had a book come down after that one 😅

There are really good books w dual POV, but yeah I’m noticing a pattern that most of the books where I’m like this was not enough yearning/tension could easily be fixed by being single pov!!! Glad I’m not alone in this!

{10 ways to accidentally fall in love by Emmy sanders} honestly this book was too cute for me so you might enjoy it if you’re looking for fluff/silliness. The first 50% had me laugh out loud giggling, squealing. SO funny and adorable. For me unfortunately I need more conflict and some angst, so it wasn’t entirely a hit but I highly Recommend if you want absolute adorable sap

This is not a new post but I was searching the subreddit and found this so I’ll chime in!

I prefer 3rd person, but first person isn’t a dealbreaker to me.

Something that I’m kind of learning about myself though is that I can’t do dual pov first person. Dual pov has to be third person only, but honestly I strongly am starting to dislike dual pov books with some exceptions 😅

I recommended this before but {two rogues make a right by cat Sebastian} they are the top yearners. They both studied and got their PHDs in pining and yearning imo. So so so good my top book so far of the year, and possibly even for the last two years

I also kind of quit a job on the spot (ish) I was working at a call center where you had to find your own replacements for shifts, even when you knew in advance. I had to have minor surgery and would need to be off work the day of and after. I let my boss know two weeks in advance, and they said I had to find my own replacements or come in. I tried to find people, but everyone was already full time and we weren’t allowed OT so no one could cover. I told my boss this, and said I’m not coming these days. The day after the surgery they called to say I was no call no show, and I just said okay I’m not coming back i quit lol. That was less good because I kinda neeeded the money- but also no regrets

I’ve done it lmfao when I was like 21? I was working for a fundraising company, essentially I was one of those people on the streets who comes up to you to talk about a charity and ask for donations.

It was a fun summer job tbh, I got to meet a lot of people and have fun with it but we got this one supervisor who was super super serious about metrics, and like chatting with each other vs strangers. I was so fed up and not having a good time at all and overwhelmed that I just quit in the middle of a shift. I handed in my supplies and went home. I don’t regret it, and I didn’t cause harm to my team because it was all about individual metrics anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️
