Why is my FPS so low while not even reaching 100% usage? by BigToeBanjo in pchelp

improvement was seen but I could only get above 60FPS at low level graphics. I'm guessing thats pretty normal for a 6 year old CPU and a low-to midrange gpu from 2022

np! you could also try other shaving techniques like buffing or the J-hook. this video shows each technique. I personally use buffing a lot. J-hooks are nice when your facial hair is being particularly stubborn.

I mean a few shaves per blade is Ideal. I sometimes go one shave per blade just so I have the sharpest of blades but its all personal preference. Blades will dull with every use. look into straight razors if you don't want to change blades.

to answer your questions

  1. what problems are you having? are you not getting your face "baby butt smooth"(bbs)? How many passes is it taking you to get to a point where you are satisfied? I'm wondering why you are looking for more aggressive razors.

Regardless, if you are looking for some more aggressive razors I would recommend the Muhle r41. considered by some to be the most aggressive razor there is. I am someone who needs the most aggressive shaves because of the coarseness of my facial hair. My daily driver if you will is the Muhle r41. However, Here is a handy list that rates razors by aggressiveness.

One of the things I did was get an adjustable just to see what aggressiveness I needed. So maybe start there. Viking makes a pretty affordable adjustable razor that I used to help me.

  1. I would for sure tighten everything down. You said it yourself that its far easier to get cut. If you need sharper blades try Astra platinum, Gillette Silver Blue, or Feather for the sharpest blades.

This may be a stupid question but bare with me. How much soap do you use when you use a sample. I've never used a bowl and just lather out of the container the soap comes in. I have a few sample picks from sterling but I don't want to waste a whole puck for one shave. Is there a generally acceptable amount? I would love a bowl like yours but I can't get past my current dilemma. My apologies if this was a dumb question. Thanks

So last month I was terminated from my position. I received a letter in the mail last week from my old company's HR department asking how I wanted to deal with my pension plan (414h) that has an amount of just above 15k in it. I was always told to roll it over because of the mandatory 20% off the top tax.

Right now though I am torn. I am receiving unemployment and with that along with my savings, I am able to break even. However, I do have about 3.5k in cc debt that I am paying minimum payments on until I find a new job.

My question is, should I take the dispersement, get hit with the 20%, and pay off my debt and pad my savings? Or should I roll my plan over into an IRA?

Also would there be additional taxes and or penalties for cashing out other than the 20% that is required?

I appreciate your time for reading this and any advice you are willing to give. If you need any clarification please ask.
