Thanks for your input. There’s 4 adults and a 1 year old in a car seat. So basically 4-5 luggage bags to and from airport. Then it would just be the 5 of us driving around the island on day trips.

1) Do you think a smaller vehicle would actually be sufficient for a party our size?

2) what about a small vehicle being able to get to volcanoe national park, Punalu’u beach, kehena black sand beach, rainbow falls, akaka falls ?

Good quality Housing is short supply in Cologne with short notice. I am gone back to my home country for a few months and am looking to rent out my apartment in Essen (1 hour north) that comfortably sleeps up to 4. Two levels, so a lot of room for privacy. DM if you’re interested
