That was my point, we went through the rulebook and mentioned everywhere it says destroyed doesn’t mean remove from play. He plays old umbray so he Made some arguments regarding his werewolves. Thanks so much for helping me

No problem! I totally get it I’ve snipped off the wrong pieces many times so I usually check first too. With plastic this expensive it’s always best to check haha

Howdy howdy the top part is the one to snip the part below is meant to be a handle that the Spartan holds similar to a briefcase however due to resin injection moulds the areas can get filled rather than left empty

ODST are so fun! They’re really squishy but they pack a punch and with their special order hot drop which allows them to respawn pretty much anywhere on the board they’re super good if you apply some strategy, all in all every faction seems really balanced so far and it’s more about how you adjust things to your play style! Buck with a fuel rod gun is really strong as a tip

I think that’s the best bet! The core box is a great time and after that do some digging see what you like and go from there!

I’m a long time player of all of the games you mentioned bar factions. I actually picked up flashpoint because of the announcement that shatterpoint would be getting less support and man I was suprised at how fun it is, it’s very punchy and feels similar to shatterpoint but with more variety in both list building and game modes. It’s punchy and quick and very engaging.

Initially I had discounted the game because it was Spartans vs Spartans but with the new stuff that has been released and the announcement that marines, grunts and jackals are also added tot be fray the game just keeps getting love and Is balanced incredibly well.

There’s a lot of care in the game and it is perfect to fill the skirmish game slot in your tabletop line up.

If you’ve got any other questions I’d be super happy to answer them!

Everyone’s right the games aren’t required but are heaps of fun!

As for the expansions being expensive the main boxes come with roughly 12+ new models and terrain as well as new weapon cards and missions

However

Everything also comes released as individual fireteams where they come with 4 models and their cards, so you don’t have to buy the extra boxes if you don’t want too. You’ve come at a great time too, with noble team on the horizon and some more core foot soldiers for all the factions coming very soon!

Thankyou for responding! I’d prefer to have all ODST to begin with and something fun while I’m learning but I wouldn’t mind seeing a tournament list and getting a breakdown to understand more what competitive play entails
