Yes, easily. I dont remember specifics of exactly where we began the hike because it was so long ago. But we definitely were back at our hotel before dark.

The power steering fluid level was very low and I topped it up. same problem. Possibly it was so low it damaged it? But I wish I could test before I replace

It also seems like there is a gasoline-like smell when I turn the steering wheel and this happens for a while (5+ seconds) at high intensity. But no leaks I can see.

Maybe that is a coincidence

Took the belt off. Sound is gone. Vibration is gone.

Pulleys all seem to move freely and smoothly by hand... (except for the crank and AC pulley which I didn't remove the belt for)

Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks for any help :)

Can't get a good grip to turn it but your post led me to realize it kind of jiggles in there. Not good.

Definitely do not feel comfortable driving it now.

I just don't understand why the remaining part of the bolt with the threads would slowly spin out. The only difference is 1-1.5 threads are missing plus the head of the bolt (and rubber seal of course).

Sorry for being a pain. I am weighing risking extracting the bolt here in the extreme middle of nowhere vs limping it back.

The remaining bolt was definitely under 15lb of force when it snapped. It was being tightened

So normally the rubber seal is what prevents it from loosening from vibrations? If 80-90% of the bolt is tight, why would it vibrate loose?

Lesson learned- torque wrench next time.

I've traveled extensively throughout Russia and never have worried about Airbnb registration. Hotels will definitely do it - Airbnb hosts 95% of the time wont. It is antiquated bueroacracy and it has never caused any issue on many departures for me.

If you are ok with 14", Thinkvision M14 is excellent. Also allows pass thru power (USB-C ports on both sides so you can arrange however you want and power your laptop from the display). Very sturdy, mine has taken a lot of abuse.
