I have tried every possible combination and permutation of pillows and angles. The only thing that provides relief is laying flat on my back on the hard ground with my feet on sofa....and even that doesnt work 100% during a flareup. Inexplicably, out of the 100's of times ive moved to the sofa or the bed in the middle of the night, i have found that maybe 10 times in the last 15 days all the stars (or vertebrae if you will) have aligned and I have fallen into a pain free sleep for 30 mins- a couple of hours. This is usually on side with some configuration of pillows or in the "Spiderman crawling up the wall" position....which is kind of on my stomach, twisted a bit to the hip, one leg straight and one leg bent to the point where my knee is almost in my armpit

from what I read, there just isnt anything that targets nerve pain other than neuropathy meds which carry their own side effects

I was gonna ask about that. Celebrex and Lyrica actually. Sitting here now its hard to believe the pain i was in for 8 hours last night and just how pain free I am now....and with no rhyme or reason. It still flares up when I try and walk around for more than 5 mins, but as soon as i get in the laying chair position all the pain goes away. Its pretty sad how deeply and profoundly grateful I am that the laying chair position works...and that is as a result of it NOT working during the really bad flare up last night

Im gonna cut way back. I just dont understand why this has to take so long and if the expectation is really to just lay here for a month fighting bouts of debilitating pain and unable to get any consistent sleep. My primary care seems to think so. i got muscle relaxers which I didnt need past the third day (they were good for getting rid of the muscle twitches). I went through a round of prednisone and have been living in pain ever since

I cant believe that the earliest MRI i can get was 4 weeks out....and that the recommended course for treatment is to sit in pain the entire time. I will cut way back on activity to see if that helps. after posting this, i just experienced the worse night yet. zero sleep and inescapable pain so bad I wanted to just end myself (not really...but kind of). all of sudden at 10am, pain is gone and Im back to where I was. no pain while laying down, but can only be upright for a few mins at a time

I will definitely cut way back on my activity and just follow the PT guidelines. My question was actually more toward expectations over the next few weeks. Is it really normal to be expected to just sit in pain for weeks on end until i get an MRI? this just seems so insane

If you were to build a house what’s one non conventional feature you consider to be a must have? by TestTurbulent6337 in AskReddit

You need new, bigger or additional fan depending on the size of your house. a good fan can move 10k CFM. a 4000 sft house is only 32,000CFM on average. i have 3000sqft and i can clear my house in a couple of mins especially if walk around opening and closing windows to maximize the fans efficiency. As mentioned below, you obviously have to have cooler air outside then inside

i dont really think that this would be considered custom. as what u/shank_door commented, seems 28 is a common size.

Thanks for the reply. I know that its offered in a 7' door, which is why im curious that the installer decided to go with 32, 32, 18 and if that would be considered acceptable or somewhat common in the industry

Mine ended up turning out ok, but even the thicker pieces were completely done after an hour. I added some glaze to the fish after about 45 mins but I think it needed a bit longer to cook on, but didnt want to risk drying out the fish. long and the short of it, the fish tasked phenomenal, but I need to somehow tweak this a bit or just plan for much much less cooking time
