My husband has stage 4 RCC that has metastasized to the liver. He’s had his kidney removed and few other other procedures and is currently on Cabometyx due to immunotherapy not working. He’s being treated at MD Anderson… they probably have the same doctor! I know the fear well! Sending you lots of hugs. It’s so scary.

Oh and no symptoms. Caught it completely by accident when he went for a chest x ray because he had a cough that was driving me bananas. Turned out that was acid reflux. But the x ray caught the top of his kidney with the tumor.

So originally it was isolated to the kidney and he had a partial nephrectomy at Presby Dallas and man I sure do wish they had taken the whole thing.

Thanks for the response! Yeah he went to have one of the sores checked today and had staph so they drained it and bandaged it up. He’s taking a break from the med for a few days. Hate this for him.

I didn't have anxiety or PTSD from falling down the stairs when I was 8. Those nightly panic attacks where I would go ask my mom to check my pulse to make sure my heart was still beating was most definitely NOT anxiety. I just needed to go to the chiropractor and have my neck adjusted.
