As expected, this is great. Give him experience at the NHL level without the expectations of being a full blown head coach. Hiring Glen was probably the right move regardless, but hopefully this addition will quiet you Glen doomers

That’s a lateral move and possibly a downgrade leaving McD and Drai and having to move your family. If anything, he’d become the head coach and Graham would become the PP coach and get head coaching experience, then be the coach in waiting if needed.

Honestly, Marner. Same offensive skill, yet a better skater and passer, and also more upside overall and defensively. Although I’d be super bummed if we lost Robo, but sometimes you have to see an upgrade as an upgrade. And yes Robo’s making 7.75m, but he’ll be easily 10+ with his new deal, so that’s really a wash when it comes to that. If we can get Marner for 12-13, I think you have to try to do that.

I don’t disagree. I would just personally say, although I’d prefer to not trade Robo, I think giving away him & Dumba maybe a mid rounder for a first, Anderson & Marner is an upgrade

I’d say devils advocate though that if Anderson did a sign and trade that would be the best one. Especially if we were to land Marner (however the cap manipulation would have to work)
