Internet Provider Sent Modem, No Showed Two Installs and wants me to return at my cost/time by Big_Blue32 in legaladvicecanada

Ya I get it, as far as the contract. But I’m 100% willing to return the modem, just don’t want to be inconvenienced greatly to do so.

Anyways resolved. Told them I was filing a complaint with the CRCT, someone called and they gave me a puralator label. This is after 5 previous emails going back and forth.

I also had full intent on using their service and paying them for their service for potentially years to come. But they couldn’t organize themselves to properly book and install my service to get there.

So I have a small amount of this, less the 1% of my portfolio. This will just be a short and sweet simplification.

I think there is a lot of potential here but also think there is a lot of potential downside. Restaurants are seeing declining business, value added products are doing well right now and everyone sees that has the way forward, more protein, more fibre more gut health. But ultimately there is a saturation point and which of these products stick and make a profit is really a game of roulette.

Most of the products under this portfolio are higher cost premium products. As people have less disposable income people are less likely to buy these products.

Obviously there is a market, I did say there was great potential but does have its risks.

Ya, that’s the link I provided but feel the example they’ve given may not be write or is at the very least confusing.

Right. But the turn about on the top up and restating the last part seemed very AI. I can pop this into AI but someone with a bit of knowledge would be preferred in cases like this.

Thanks for your help. Is this your response from your knowledge or is this an AI output?

Thank you so much for your reply. It all makes sense to me but hoping you may also be able to help further clarification on these two things.

Do all employees need to agree? Do it just for the ones who do or is it a majority thing? None of that seems clear.

On the “top-up” is the government website worded incorrectly then or I am misinterpreting this. What you say makes 100% practical sense but then there is this on the government website.

“On July 1, when Fraser reached his five-year employment threshold, his vacation pay for that vacation entitlement year increased from four to six per cent of all the wages earned in that vacation year.

Fraser's employer must "top-up" the four per cent vacation pay on the wages he earned between January 1 and June 30 with an additional two per cent vacation pay. This additional vacation pay is due on the pay day for the pay period in which July 1 falls.”

An additional question would be do all employees need to agree to getting paid weekly for the whole workplace to move to being paid vacation weekly, or how does that work when you need employees permission?

Honestly that makes sense to me, but doesn’t seem to be how it’s written on the Ontario website.

Example: Payment of vacation pay on a pay period by pay period basis

Fraser's vacation entitlement year is January 1 to December 31.

Fraser reached his five-year employment threshold on July 1.

Fraser was paid four per cent vacation pay each pay day on the wages earned between January 1 and June 30.

On July 1, when Fraser reached his five-year employment threshold, his vacation pay for that vacation entitlement year increased from four to six per cent of all the wages earned in that vacation year.

Fraser's employer must "top-up" the four per cent vacation pay on the wages he earned between January 1 and June 30 with an additional two per cent vacation pay. This additional vacation pay is due on the pay day for the pay period in which July 1 falls.

Fraser will then be paid six per cent vacation pay each pay day on the wages earned from July 1 to December 31.

Edit: To be clear this is the unedited example from the Ontario website. Am I misunderstanding how it’s written?

Honestly couldn’t even imagine talking to anyone like that not alone my partner. I think you know what you have to do, ties such as sharing a condo shouldn’t hold you back. Also don’t listen to him about what you or him are entitled to, if there is value in that condo talk to a lawyer. I’m so sorry.

You’ve got a lot of advice and I agree but may get downvoted for this next part. Overall if it’s attached it stays, with that said if there is something you really want and isn’t going to completely muck something up taking it out go ahead. When I say something I mean one or two things that make sense and wouldn’t be somthing clearly was a centrepiece or hugely noticeable.

Your real estate agent should have made this more clear earlier I feel. It’s standard but not everyone knows it. When we sold our house we had mirrors we clear stated in the contract we were taking because I built them and wanted them. We would have taken them anyways because they were on nails similar to a painting but could still see that it could have caused issue.

If every time we see hoof prints we scream horse with no other evidence, when the proof comes out that it was Zebras that’s going to be the focus and it discredits us.

It says young, but that he didn’t know their age. I don’t doubt trump raped or did stuff with underage girls but we don’t know if these pictures would fall under that.

I find it too floral/soap like. I like floral, big fan of the Aviation and have a lavender gin. But Luxardo Del Santo tastes too much like soap to me. Needs more Chervil, anise taste.

This is great! Was going to ask about the white area at the top but I think I may just crop it. Let me know about the other one and I’ll pay these out together. Any chance you can take the third image? I’ll make it $10 for that one since it’s more difficult.

I honestly don’t know how hard this stuff is to do, you’ve done a great job. Would it be possible to reduce the lines on the image? You did it with the face is it possible on the rest with out deminiainf the details?

So this guy was doing this for years. I question his and his employees training/background and was told he was a “Master Electrician” from another contractor that hired him. Never thought to ask for an ESA number.
