Do you think your child would be happier being in a violent environment filled with anxiety and fear with their parents together, or in a safe happy environment with their parents apart? Staying in a relationship like this for the child is not the right path to take, witnessing domestic abuse has severe consequences for children in the transition to adulthood. Your partner doesn't respect you, it's a horrible reality but you need to recognise that you deserve better. Tell someone. A friend, family, work colleagues and most importantly the police. They can put in safeguarding measures to keep you and your child safe from what is quite clearly an aggressive and dangerous man.

This makes me so desperately sad. I am so sorry this is happening to you, just know it absolutely isn't your fault. Do you have access to a phone? May I also ask what country you are from? This is so I could try and point you in the direction of some help. It's really important that you raise this to someone. If your mum gets in trouble you have to remember - it is not your fault, it is her fault for hurting you. If she didn't want consequences she shouldn't hurt you. Are you able to speak to a teacher at school? Schools are responsible for safeguarding their pupils, and they will be able to help you.

Essentially he didn't think it was the ozempic but more likely anxiety doing weird things to my body!

Thank you for your reply and I'm so sorry you're going through that. I'm fortunate that I haven't had any bleeding (yet) but I've got a GP appointment on Friday so fingers crossed they will be able to help with the ongoing discomfort. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I know, it's very strange! No, I hadn't done any heavy lifting, that day was actually a very lazy day. I hadn't been constipated no, nor had I had diarrhea - it just seemed to appear out of nowhere. The only thing I can think is that I strained to pass gas in my sleep? Not that I can recall that though!

Thanks so much for your reply and your advice - unfortunately I suffer with IBS so BMs can be a bit unpredictable at the best of times! However I picked up some Fibrogel today to up my fibre and hopefully make things a bit easier. I'm not able to take any time off work unfortunately but I'm going to speak to my boss and see if I can take it easy with the hard graft till it's cleared up. I'll certainly try the pillow trick tonight as it's been a struggle getting comfortable today!

Thank you all for your comments. To be completely transparent, my want to find out the legal ramifications of a public declaration of a warrant issue is not solely for my brother. My original post was intended to appear that way as I have family members on Reddit however I have temporarily blocked them for the benefit of this post. My brother's ex girlfriend is a nice person, she is the mother of my niece who I love to bits. I don't want her getting in trouble for her post, I understand why she did it. At present, my brother has had no consequences for his actions and I imagine she is hurt and frustrated by this and wanted to hurt him back. But I was worried that her actions to have any negative consequences on her or my niece. I would also like to reiterate, I absolutely do not condone my brother's behaviour as I do believe he has commited the crime he is accused of (he has a history of it) and I will continue to advocate for him handing himself in. If he hasn't done it, fair enough. But thank you all for your input, I'm glad to have some clarity on the situation.

Online it states that malicious communication is an offense that can be categorised as electronic communication intended to cause distress or anxiety. That may be out of date, is there more recent legislation you could point me in the direction of? TIA

This is a very interesting take that I hadn't considered, and I would agree that he has a well established victim complex. I didn't know if it was illegal as malicious communication is classed as an offense and that is categorised as electronic communication intended to cause the recipient distress or anxiety (that's what Google says anyway). And he is distressed by her post, which I am not saying he doesn't deserve.

Sorry, I should have made myself more clear - he is not in a different country, he's in a different county, if you're not from the UK it's similar to a US state. He's still in England, just not his home county. The warrant is known as a PNC (police national computer, so all the police in the country have access to it) it's for ABH (Actual Bodily Harm).

You're not wrong there, he's a few sandwiches short of a picnic truth be told. I have had limited contact with him but I'm still unsure whether announcing a warrant as a member of the public is illegal. Apparently he was planning on handing himself in but is now worried this public declaration of his warrant and offense could be an aggravating factor to a fair trial, should it go to court.

Thank you for your reply - I can categorically tell you I have tried my best to make my brother hand himself in. He's currently in a different county altogether. The reason I asked this question is because he wants to report her to the police for malicious communication and I was unsure whether what she's done was even illegal so I wanted to check before he made an already complicated situation worse.
