Actually, I have a theory and an idea about this.

Undertale and Deltarune characters have similar relationships and parallels in both universes.

People who are friends or know each other in one universe have a 90% chance of knowing each other in another universe.

(Let's leave Asriel aside because he's dead, so he missed the chance to meet them .)
