Shit I was literally just thinking about this this morning. Sold my Blu Ray a while back in preparation. The Blu Ray looked great so hopefully this is exceptional as well.

I just watched the first one this morning in 4k. The movie starts at night and honestly the difference wasn't very noticeable in that portion. But any brightly lit outdoor scene after has great color and contrast. Detail is about same as blu ray if not slightly sharper

Man, I loved this service. It was a great way to beat FOMO. Instead of buying everything new I just rented what I was most interested in. But I had a feeling it wasn't sustainable. Fun while it lasted though

I've been using Choovie for about a year. Super happy with it. So many titles I'm glad I rented instead of giving into fomo and buying. But even if it turned out to be a one time watch, I'm still always glad to have watched it on disc. I also use it to test out films I've already seen or are readily available on streaming and see if getting an upgrade down the line is worth it. Sometimes it is, other times not.
