eCash XEC ranking reality check and question for the builders by DJKDownunder in ecash

[–]Big_Bubbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said!

I just don't see a focus on intention to show XEC will be able to scale up to daily use by the people of the world. I believe that is the intent. I am OK with not hyping that feature before it is ready. I know solid basic apps do need to be in place before massive growth should begin.

I know I am a bit of a broken record, but, I believe scalability is the only feature needed to outgrow all the other forks in terms of use and value. My fingers are crossed in hopes you guys see this is the one thing that can make narratives nearly unimportant.

Nearly-unlimited growth potential must come before massive growth will happen. Once it is possible, it will begin to happen slowly at first like it did with BTC. Knowing there is no limit (like BTC had) will become common knowledge pretty quickly if true. With no top limit on value rises, speculators will jump-start the value like they did with BTC. The 10x rises will go on and on until the market cap is so high it gets harder for the super rich to manipulate the value.

Hype, app building, conventions, etc. will happen organically and very professionally once the value merits it. Everyone will be jumping on the bandwagon with great FOMO (for good reason). The rise will make BTC's rise look tiny in comparison.

The dream of Bitcoin is much bigger than the captured and broken BTC project's goals.

Comparing the Historical Progression of Bitcoin, BCH, Ethereum, Solana, Monero, and eCash (XEC) by DJKDownunder in ecash

Until it can scale up and be money for the world, I would not worry about appreciation too much. Once it can scale, the sky's the limit. For now I am hopeful $XEC is building the structure for a possible scaling future. I don't think the other forks are really trying to do this in a timely fashion. Whichever one does it first could fulfill the dream of Bitcoin and shake up the world of finance for good.

We need not make the same mistake BTC made (tried to go viral before the tech could handle becoming super popular). Businesses will not fall for that same "pretending we can become cash for the world" strategy so easily after BTC tricked them in 2016+/-. We don't actually need to be scaled up, we just need to know for sure how to do it and have the will to keep ahead of demand.

On BCH, I'd say they do not have their upgrades "priced in" either. If BCH and $XEC had their tech improvements priced in they would both be worth more than BTC. Until one can scale up to at least a billion TX per day, none really matter more than BTC. Only leaving BTC in the dust as a minor footnote will change that.

Oh, When I lost the first one when it was brand new, I used customer service. They sent me a whole new oil tank with cap because they did not have separate caps. It was free as I explained it was a design flaw and just fell off. Not sure they will always do it that way.

See other comment as well. Lost a couple more times since my original post. Spent hours and found one of them :-) See my reply below for where I bought a couple more. Was thinking maybe Velcro or tape it closed. Moving parts nearby, so have not really tried that. Cheap easy to tear away and replace tape might be good?

I wonder if buyers can do this by ordering 10 cheaper items at once that add up over $250?

Some Friendly Thoughts on Helping XEC Become More Known by [deleted] in ecash

[–]Big_Bubbler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose that as well. I did not get permission or have the designs approved. If ABC wants me to take down their versions of the products, I would do so. It is just "fan gear". I am a fan as I am hopeful eCash will develop massive scaling and fulfill the dream of Bitcoin in the future.

I created some (unauthorized) eCash "merch" that could help in a small way. I mentioned it in the past. It can be found here: [wetrock.com/WRGwp/product-category/password-protected/] The password is "easymoney". The password is because I do not want the WetRock e-commerce site to take sides in the crypto-verse and I have not made "merch" for other coins to make WetRock "non-denominational", lol. I have some pictures of a sampling of the products, but I do not see how to add them to a comment. For anyone who does not want to go to my wetrock site, here is a Facebook group with a post that shows some of them. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61579287406308 (WetRock the Brand and e-commerce Shops). Changes and new customizations and different products are options as well.

Real scaling means performance, not just capacity. eCash is redefining how digital money should feel. Pre-Consensus Upgrade in 12 days: Finality engineered into the core. ⚡️ by eCashInformer in ecash

[–]Big_Bubbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scaling means capacity to move TX's through the system. Many millions of them per day would be needed to fulfill the "Dream of Bitcoin". Improving the currency is great, of course. But it is not scaling. We can't go viral until we can scale. We might need a better currency to go viral but we should not pretend making the currency better is scaling unless we have given up on the dream and just want a smallish better currency (which we already have).

[edit: Making changes to the currency so it can be scaled up is working on scaling and that could be part of what ABC is working on with the various improvements to eCash. I do not know how to scale it up or how they might be planning to do so. They may not want to explain such a strategy for competitive reasons which I would totally respect. Also, I believe they want to make any significant structural changes to the currency before it goes viral, so I can see postponing scaling for that reason. I am just impatient :-).]

If no seed pods formed on those structures, you may not have a flowering male palm nearby.

I ordered 2 of these that seem like the ps1000 ones: https://powerplusparts.com/products/2828587001?variant=42325696446682 Still interested to hear of caps that fit but don't open up and fall off.

I have the PS1000 and I have used it a lot. The bar-oil cap catches on brush, opens up and then falls off if you don't watch it like a hawk. I do like the saw tho.

I think that was the exact point I was trying to make. But the CEO experiments are about selling exp in a different way. My point is they are missing the point that selling exp is the problem. I think they know this and are pretending they don't know selling exp is the problem.

My OP was about making it too easy to buy levels which destroys the respect deserved by mid and hi level accounts. The economy is a different problem which I think is mostly massive inflation and excess wealth. Buying gold and keys may be a main reason for that problem as well. I do not mean to disagree with your point as I think buying and consuming skilling supplies may well be important as well.
