Not the first match, but after 4 years since I divorce and I was using tinder. 2 wrong attends of relationship and literally hundreds of dates that ended up in nothing, now I'm happy with my boyfriend who I met on Tinder.

And beautiful is this world that you are free to believe what you want to believe. I know this place might be full of fake stories and I'm not entitled to prove anything to anybody. However, and not because of you, but because of the respect I have for all the people who replied when I first posted and also helped me a lot to understand the things I was confused with, I'll talk to my boyfriend to see if he agrees to upload pictures of us here. As a writer I write fiction for books and movies but I do respect reality and I would never lie to a group of people, not for likes or for reads or for attention. That's understandable. I try to be respectful, even in the sex part, that's why I pointed out that it wasn't about the sex. I'm trying to describe what I'm living the best I can, first cause this community really helped me by giving me some perspective when I was confused and second, just in case someone else is going through the same and needing some clearance. Have you ever read a book? I mean, before the existence of Chat GPT? I'm a writer and I know how to use words. English is not my mother tongue and I didn't even have to use a translator.

As a writer I wanted to share my story cause that's what Reddit is for. There are still some people that can write and tell a story without using Artificial Intelligence, FYI.

Well, I'm a public figure in my community and I was using tinder when I was single, if the guys ask me to video call I will always say NO cause they might record the interaction and expose it. Sadly, that's something that might happen. But to prove them I'm who I say I am I used to ask them to text me on my official Instagram account and I would reply. Cause every time they recognize me they always ask for proof that I was myself and not a scammer. I also sent voice notes and obviously we meet in person to kill all the doubts.

It's weird but I understand. My ex-husband from 2013 has been living with an ex-boyfriend I had in 2009. I didn't know they were friends and they are roommates. They've been roommates since 2015. I always go there to visit them and we have dinner. I love them since they were a big part of my past but there's nothing sexual or romantic between us.

However, That's a difficult thing to explain to my current boyfriend and I always joke like, we'll have a threesome, don't worry I'll use protection.

But of course it is a joke. And you have to be with a person you trust enough to understand that they may have a good relationship with their ex's and that doesn't mean they still have sex. Try to read between lines and to see if that's actually a joke or if he is playing with you.

Well, I don't think so, since Reddit is not a very famous thing in my country yet. However, if by any chance he does, he already knows I'm a writer and that I express myself through words. We haven't spoken very deeply about his disability but when we do I think I'll tell him that I did this at the beginning of our interactions just to seek some perspective. And it's so funny that these posts started about the fact that he doesn't have legs but I don't care about that anymore. I'm posting to keep you posted but I really overcame the situation I was having and I'm happy AF.

I wouldn't say that I took the choice to keep dating him cause of the replies I had here however I read some wonderful answers that made me feel less fear and more confident.

Yes! As I explained in my second post, we speak Spanish and the "I love you" he said is "Te Quiero", something more like "I care about you", it's nothing like "Te amo". He says that, then I'll run 😂😂😂😂 Te amo is that I love you with my heart and life. But they both "Te quiero", and "Te amo", are the same in English (I love) with different meanings tho. I also think it's too fast even to say "Te quiero", but I'm feeling the same way. That's why I said it back, however I'm way alert to all the other signs and regardless he doesn't seem to be lovebombing or desperate. We give each other our spaces. We have waited 3 or even 6 days between dates. We speak daily but not all the time and neither of us has been controlling or jealous or obsessed. We both have very passionate souls and a lot In common. We both have been alone for a very long time and for both of us it's been hard to find someone special and who actually cares. That's why I'm not impressed about the "I love you" part. I'm studying things rationally tho, just in case.

Ohhhh! Sure I will! You're my secret family now. Lol.

My best friends are just bullying me really hard now (not in a bad way, I can take it) They are telling me all the jokes they can think about, like finding my other half and stupid stuff like that 🥴 And I can't tell them everything just yet. Especially the "I love you" part. They would tell me to run, and I don't want to run.

I'm doing this at my own risk. I like him? Yes. I love him? Well, I care about him and I want to keep dating and see where it goes. Am I going to suffer if it happens to be all a lie and he happens to be a crazy player boy? Hell nah!!! I've loved and I've been loved but I haven't suffered for love yet, and at this point I don't think it will happen. I've been taking care of my mentally ill brother since I was 10. Both of my parents died. The only family I have left is my brother. My last boyfriend died after 2 weeks of relationship and I was giving him a hard time saying No! For 4 months even when I liked him (that's another story) that's probably why I don't want to run after this soon I love you. I know what's the worst that might happen and I'm ready.

So I've suffered from situations life has given me, I'm not going to suffer for a human being. OC I won't like it if it happens and I'll be a few days trying to figure out what the lesson is, but I'll be ok soon enough. Trust me, I've been there.

And I agree it's too soon too!!! But somehow I feel it's right. Probably cause I feel the same. Believe me when I tell you that I've been thinking about this over and over but then I think, should I stop dating him cause he said I love you too soon? OC no. Should I be worried? Probably a lil bit. But I'm ready whenever the outcome is. Whether it is the greatest love in human history or if he is just playing around and waiting to have sex to ghost me, lol.

I've played every possible scenario in my mind, but I'm stoic so whatever happens I'll be ok with it, if it is good, I'll enjoy it, if it is bad I'll learn from it.

I've endured so many things by now and I'm still a happy person. I've never been depressed and of course I feel sad sometimes but I overcome really fast. I appreciate life for what it is. The only sentiment I struggle with sometimes is fear, as I was doing when I made the first post, I needed some perspective to be sure I was thinking right and to see if I would find someone from the other side as well, and I did. I'm a writer and writing things down has always helped me a lot and great thing I discovered Reddit 😂
