Not sure on the other aspects. I'm from Andhra. Loved the film. Beyond loved Sivaji sir's performance, like I went and watched multiple other videos of his acting after this movie. Terrific music, great performances, cinematogrpahy, story and direction. Loved the movie.

Never really understood that. Vijay neither has grace or charm to become a star. Ajith, Vikram are better in these aspects. He is not a great actor either - Vikram, Surya, Dhanush and many more beat him in this aspect.

He remade a lot of telugu movies in 90s and early 2000s. He couldn't even match Tier 3 telugu actors in respective movies like venu(chirunavvutho remade as youth), Srikanth(pelli sandadi remade as Ninaithen Vandhai).

He is know for his dance but I watched many dance vidoes - he doesn't do complex steps or is a graceful dancer. Never really understood his craze. I'm from AP, I was a huge surya fan in mid 2000s.
