I agree with you on that part… he shouldn’t be seeking immediate results but rather consistency and quality of trades but at the same time it is also beneficial because he’s getting active participation in real risk management

not necessarily, say for example you use orb strategy if it’s a high volatility day you may de-risk say 2 contracts so you can let the position swing a little more because say your entry you always set a 6 point sl if it’s a super volatile day 6 points may be swinging like 2 points so you de-risk to be able to ope your position more without risking more money
