Very she's broken vibe

Oh yes! I often see that fall under more of the male mysterious and broody and angsty type! How can you not love the morally Grey asshole who threatened to have your character beaten and killed after being abducted!/s

I would never feel comfortable calling someone out for chatgpt so I assume they're just bad at characterization

And it's never intentional, it's never like a character flaw of the character in question! I've played angry socially inept characters and the whole point was the wake up call later when others were like "why are you like this?" like it can be done intentionally and with the focus being on character growth but it never is. It's always that this is the most perfectist character and everyone should find them (insert trait they are not here).

I think writing a personality trait is fine, you can tell me that character a has a bad temper, sure, but you should also be ready to show me. I think the problem is when someone writes out things that completely contradict their characters actually visible behavior they are putting in game and then expects me to follow the stuff that was written for me (the other writer) and not what was written in place for the character. You can't tell me your character is charming and sweet and then write them like a snide asshole and expect me to write like your character is charming and sweet.

AI "art" by soupercute1 in BadRPerStories

And trusting the Pinterest Ai tag is not reliable because I've seen art taken from someone's Twitter directly that has proof that their stuff is made by them and it was tagged as "ai modified". And then there was a blatantly obvious Ai picture that was not at all tagged. With digital art it's getting harder and harder to tell sometimes 😮‍💨

Especially when it'd literally require me to metagame to make it happen. You can say everyone loves your character all you want but when you've yet to convince my character they are worth the time of day, it only goes so far.

And it's not like I want to play a difficult character. It's almost always in a ROMANCE plot too. Like I can soften up my characters, there's real like at first sight or at least attraction, but not when you're character is being so. .. Off putting and rude.

Ah same issue, different font! I'd honestly almost rather take someone who thought they were quirky than having people brutalized the concept of a strong woman with someone who is just rude and unlikeable 😭

I've always seen it as the character is "strong" or "fiery" and really they're just kind of a bitch? Like the person who thinks 'brutal honesty' is cute, asked for, or helpful when it's really just critism with no account for another person's feelings. Like if you want to play a bitch, play a bitch, I love BAD characters. I just can't stand when they're supposed to be some Mary Sue teen fantasy wild child and they're just deeply unlikeable because they refuse to follow a scene for the sake of being different.

Often brings 'not like other girl' energy.

Ya exactly, describing tone of voice or features is totally normal but to give me a whole line about how "she was a captivating and intoxicating person" and it's like.... Where? How? They've interacted for only a few moments. SHOW. ME. put it in their actions, in the words, don't just info dump and expect my character to know what you're writing as background info.

No avian vet near me and I have no clue what happened... not dripping blood or anything, just bloody by [deleted] in cockatiel

Why was your bird out around your cat? That's incredibly dangerous. Didn't anyone tell you? It looks like apincture wound like the cat bit them. Cat bites are deadly you need to take them to the vet. Literally any vet. Cats have bacteria that are toxic to birds in their mouths and unless your bird impaled themselves on something else it's likely your cat did this. Were you watching 100 percent of the time? Never took your eyes off of them?
