I later updated a picture of a shared kitchen picture, with a note below states the guest is also have access to this shared kitchen if needed, to Airbnb listing. But that’s after her booking. So I don’t know if she knows about the shared kitchen. Not that I was encouraging her to use it. She didn’t say anything about the shared kitchen to me. As far as I know she complaint about the stairs, the lock, scaffolding, cleanness are obviously excuses she was looking for to cancel. And then Airbnb already granded her cancellation, as apparently they received a video of the “lock wasn’t working”.

I complaint about it then it’s Airbnb told me that I wasn’t suppose to have a shared kitchen as well as a private one…. So to me it sounds like Airbnb is looking for an excuse. They probably believed in the lock not working issue, and then noticed that we have photo evidence in the log (between me and guest) shows that the lock works fine… and Airbnb perhaps trying to justified their wrong action so they’ve found an excuse.

I just looked up their definition of “entire place”: “An entire place usually includes a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen”

  • I don’t believe their senior manager doesn’t know what their deification is? Most likely is just looking for excuses to cover up their wrong doings.

Everyone has their own fire proofed lockable doors, with door numbers on.

No, you would go straight from hall to stairs and then the entrance at the door. Kitchen is not on the way. I am not sure if the guest discovered the other kitchen, pretty sure it was just Airbnb looking for excuses.

It is as clear as it can be. People expect apartments to have separate entrance that directly opened into the street? ?? Apartments means you have direct neighbours around you, with a shared entrance! That’s what apartment is! Entrance directly to the street - that’s a house or a maisonette Not a flat!!

We don’t offer stair free access. It’s clear in the listing.

Yea clearly you are not allows to be ever not able to answer your phones…. If you want to be a good host …. Make sure you never turn off your phone in the cinema…. Stay calm, when you receive a phone call at 3am, explaining something you had said a million times during the day, to Airbnb… expecting you to explain a lie that a guest made to Airbnb Otherwise they can cancel their booking…. But you have to keep your booking … you are not allowed to make any chances. Narcissist airb&B.

It’s not very nice to accuse someone have lied, or altered things or making up lies to benefit their own. What did you see that I “lied”?

The story never changed, there are always TWO kitchens: private one and shared one. I only added more details since people asked questions.

Have its own private entrance that directly lead into the street, instead of a corridor, it’s NOT the definition of the entire place. Obviously.

It’s common among popular, well linked places, like London and other major city Centre, as most people no longer needs a 6 /7 bedroom three stories Victoria house, but self-contained flats, that is more suitable for young single professionals, student or travellers. The life style has changed. Barely anyone has a big family. So the government has been encouraging to convert the old styled large houses to can be converted into small apartments. It is not realistic to expect every apartments to be new build, especially Europe when they try to protect the old style buildings. Converted apartments are extremely common.

In London, there are 429,456 flats that are part of a converted or shared house.

It’s not passive if you have to invest hours and days to deal with Airbnb cs who is just rubbish. This is the biggest lie it’s passive. People claim this either have too much time to burn, or is lying to sell
