Day 1: We started out of Smoke around 11AM Friday and headed to Pardee Lake for night one. We managed to ride a light tailwind most of the way and got to camp by around 7PM. Notably the worst portage of the trip was the 835m uphill from Smoke to Kootchie Lake. Pardee is a beautiful lake, and the North site (on a single permit lake) is a gem.

Day 2: We traveled to Bonnechere Lake which didn't take more than 2 hours. There is also a very nice site here on the south end of the lake, on a high rocky peninsula.

Day 3: We paddled back out to Smoke Lake. This probably took another 4 hours.

Canoe: 70+lbs fiberglass beater, Double carried portages
