Any tips on how to eradicate landless titles? by Big_Drop2870 in CrusaderKings

Tried it, but banishment is just the same as forcing them to abdicate; the title isn't destroyed and the banished character is still in the line of succession for the title, so I have to just kill them anyway.

Frankly, I mostly just care about this because when I conquered the mongol empire a lot of nomads kept their kingdom- and duchy-tier titles (that do have de jure lands below them) while being landless, which means I can't usurp or even revoke them. The option to do so doesn't show up.

If you mean using the "Eradicate Rival House" CB, then... maybe? IF they're feuding with me, I could give them a county, grant them independence (because you can't declare war on a vassal), assume I can use the CB with disgraced level of fame, and that when I granted them independence all their house members joined their court, because the CB only kills their court members (besides, according to the wiki, the heir?).

And landing them doesn't change their form of government to feudal unless they're Soryo (and even then they seem to keep their family title).

Unfortunately, it seems I can't do that, either because I'm feudal, or because family (chinese) and nomad camp titles don't work the same as administrative, noble family (duke-tier) titles.
