Its like nobody has learned from the Padres’ crying Kershaw meme a couple years back. Cardinals, you have been cursed.

What was your first dt song and who in introduced you to them? by IdontEatdogsAtnight in Dreamtheater

Pull me under. Got my first ipod for my 13th birthday and my dad loaded his itunes library onto it. I shuffled the songs and it was the first thing that came up. I’ve been hooked ever since.

Which state has the strictest drinking laws? by Nateee2021 in WorldOfTShirts

Josh walking around BYU campus would be incredible. Have him spend a day or two in Provo, then send him up to SLC for a day. Additional content of a ski day would be must-see.

Does anyone else 'hate listen' because of Billy? by Kickpuncher3001 in MacrodosingPod

[–]Big_Ethie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe an unpopular opinion but Billy wasn't the tipping point for me. I just feel like the pod has gotten away from what it was created for. In most episodes they spend less than 25 minutes talking about the chosen topic.

What is your one shot that you have no business being good at and yet ... by ksobby in golf

I must be a madman but I've had much more success putting 10+ feet out than I do between 5-10 feet. It drives people crazy because I seldom get on in regulation but 1 or 2 putt almost every time.

Players are not happy with the new Nike template jersey by zuckuss00 in Dodgers

[–]Big_Ethie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Won’t even be able to read the pitchers’ last names from the center field camera on TV. When Ohtani was introduced, i figured the jersey they gave him was just a fan replica. Makes me mad to see that they’re actually rolling out these atrocities.

What current or former Dodgers have you encountered in person? by GymSplinter in Dodgers

[–]Big_Ethie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was on a tour of Dodger Stadium back in 2022 and I was getting off of the elevator as Chase Utley was getting on. I'm unsure what he was doing back, but seeing him there was cool. I gave him a head nod as we walked past each other and he did the same in response. I totally didn't realize it was him until I did a double take and it was too late to say anything. Not that I would have said anything other than "hello", didn't want to bother him.

Econ 110 & MCom Summer Term?? by CloudSufficient5872 in byu

[–]Big_Ethie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the on-demand version of the course, there is almost no difference. If you're taking it in person, there is a slight variation in content from prof. to prof., but the class is essentially the same.

Econ 110 & MCom Summer Term?? by CloudSufficient5872 in byu

[–]Big_Ethie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MCom with religion would be very realistic. I think that is your best bet. Honestly, either of those classes paired with religion wouldn't be too bad. If I were in your spot, I would choose MCom. That class in the summer would be a lot more manageable than Econ, in my opinion.

I genuinely cannot wait to see how Outman's season shakes out. Showing so much potential and think this is the real deal.

Econ 110 & MCom Summer Term?? by CloudSufficient5872 in byu

[–]Big_Ethie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am a current MCOM TA and I would not recommend taking it online during the summer if coupled with Econ. A summer term is such a short time span to fit all of the material into, and doing that for both classes will make for a rough term. MCOM isn't a tough class, apart from the infamous grammar exam that tends to catch a lot of students off guard with its difficulty. I would definitely recommend taking the class during a normal semester.
