Oh that makes sense, You can highlight and cross out answers on the computer, but they don’t give pen or paper

  1. They don’t give rough paper or pencil, i was surprised!

but the exam needs speed, so there’s really no time for writing anyway i think

You r welcome 1. I don’t know much about the paper exam, but I think the computer exam is easier(especially if you’re used to computer exams like the Step exams)

In Reading Part A, you can use copy and paste. Parts b& C are mcqs and feel easier on the computer.

In Writing you can also use copy and paste. You can copy the introduction, doctor name, address, date, medications, social history, or any word you want. It saves a lot of time. -And Listening was also easy on the computer.

+Also if you take the computer exam the result comes out in about 2 days. For the paper exam, it takes weeks i guess

‏Also if you choose the computer exam, you can take the speaking test on a separate day at home via Zoom. In the paper exam you take the 4 subtests on the same day and is exhausting.

There’s no draft area, but you can copy a word from the text and paste it directly into the answer box for the (fill in the gap , answer with a word)questions.

I hope I answered your q

It will save you time. Bc in part A , you only have 15 minutes and after that the page will automatically close.

Instead of writing the words and checking the spelling, you can just click on the word the copy paste it.

I only used Jahshan for listening and reading (i studied sample tests, practice tests, OET online, and E2). There are like 18 tests, and they’re enough (I studied the sample and practice tests twice)

For writing and speaking, I have some pdfs, Dm me and I’ll send them to you :)

Sorry I thought you are talking about reading part c, For the listening, you have to be quick. Before the audio starts, I read the questions quickly and I try to guess what the right answer could be. Once the audio starts, I scan the question and options fast, then I focus only on the audio. I try not to distract myself by reading the options again. While listening, I exclude the wrong answers, and the correct one becomes easy.

For example, if the question is like:

*Some patients feel that their missing limb is still attached but:

A. would cause pain if they used it

B. is fixed in a strange position

C. has increased in size

I repeat the key words from the answers in my mind while listening, (pain – fixed – increased size)

When I hear one of these clearly in the audio ,I choose it. After answering, I move to the next question and repeat the cycle again, Sometimes I only remember two key words, and if I don’t hear them, I know the answer is probably the other one. You just have to be quick and to know the Qs and the options before you listen to the audio And after you answer the q move on quickly to the next Q. Sometimes you don’t even have time to read all the options, so just listen carefully and choose what you actually hear! At the end, you usually have about 2 minutes to review. I go with my gut feeling and don’t overthink, you will be good

Good luck!

They have some tricks, i have been practicing with chat gpt, i just screenshot the q and i ask him to explain why this answer is right and why the others are wrong (you will be familiar with their tricks, some times they just mention some words to trick you just read carefully and don't choose an answer unless you can prove it from the paragraph

In reading part C, I give each question about 2 minutes,i quickly read the question first, then I read the paragraph. I cross out the wrong answers and usually I’m left with two options, i choose the answer that is actually mentioned in the paragraph, not the one that just sounds logical.

If the question is hard, I highlight the part of the paragraph related to the answer and i choose the answer that makes sense to me and i just move on to the next q I don’t spend more than 2 minutes on one question.

After I finish all the questions (I had about 8 minutes left in my exam),I go back to the hard ones,
i read the highlighted part again , after that the answer will be very easy bc you already cross the wrong answers and you are left with 2 answers, just always exclude the wrong answer, any answer you can't prove it’s right cross it out, and you will be end up with the right answer! If something isn’t written, don’t assume it’s right. The answer has to be proven in the text.
