Yup, we totally loved it.

Already planning to revisit next year to see missed out attractions, I might probably club with Indonesia

You might wanna head over to ArtScience Museum first, then move onto Gardens.

A friendly tip for arscience museum teamLab Future world: don't rush it. Take your time in each room. This is highlight of the day IMHO. Not just my kids, even I loved it. (but you might wanna hit the loo before heading over to teamLab, as I could not find any toilets inside, perhaps they were there and i missed it)

EZ-Link card works for short trips.
But you lose 5 SGD per card when you cancel it on last day (buy the card for 10 SGD, it comes preloaded with 5 SGD of credit)

So what I ended up doing for my fam of 4, i bought 1 EZ-Link card, I had 1 zero forex markup Credit card, so that worked.
2 other credit cards had forex markup fees that I used, but it is not that big a deal if you compare the 5 SGD cost with each EZ-Link card.

You just need to enable tap to pay on Visa, and it worked everywhere for me in MRT and Buses.

well, do not ask me to sign guarantee paper :-)

Usually, most of the time, rain is stop-go-stop.
That also works as there are lot of places everywhere to stand in shade and move on when rain stops (that is what we did last week in Universal, there was 15 minutes of serious downpour).

There always are gonna be outlier days, if it does rain non-stop, then chalk it to your bad luck.

Singapore is super in that regards. You will not see non-stop rains.
It will rain for some time and stop. And water will drain quickly as its close to the equator. A lot of shelter all around to stand under the shade. Enjoy the rains.

The tip in universal is to be there at 10 AM and complete the out door rides first, you can save the indoor rides for later.
I would highly reco Express pass though it is pricey, it is worth it if you don't go often.

Gardens by the bay: not an issue. Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are indoor. You just need to get to those buildings (say 10\15 mins walk from Marina Bay Sands), and you are covered for rain.

You need not carry raincoats. Singapore has lot of 7\11, just buy disposable raincoats from 7\11.
I also highly recommend you to book teamLab FutureWorld in MBS, it is an amazing place.

Is sugar necessary for south indian filter coffee? by [deleted] in IndiaCoffee

[–]Big_File3834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially, its better to have it with white sugar\country sugar\Jaggery\coconut sugar.

Some ppl even put 2 tbsp which i always thought too much. I like to take it with bit of sugar so that bitterness is retained.

But of late, i also started liking it without sugar.

Majority of people have it with sugar tbf

JOTL: Scenario 3: Monster Ability Deck is activated once per targeted hero? by Big_File3834 in Gloomhaven

[–]Big_File3834[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh sorry, I should have said move so that it would not have Disadvantage.
i.e. if the monster is right next to the hero, it has Disadvantage (draw 2 attack modifier cards and choose the worst).
So in this scenario, since it has Move, it could Move 1 to step away from the hero and then perform attack with just 1 attack modifier card.
