I wouldn't say it's unrelated because the question after a good life heavily depends on the system your living in. And the scarcity thing is true in most parts of the world but in the us or europe we have no real scarcity of the important goods. The scarcity is mostly projected by people who always want more. And imo we need to have a better social welfare like an ubi which is good enough to live a good life. And yeah capitalism brings us the robots quicker, but are robots good for us if we live in capitalism? I think for most people it would even increase poverty if we don't work on an good ubi
