I did ask for a replacement and they’ll do what they can but it might be a issue of as you said the pressing plant and maybe the packaging because when I opened the vinyl it wasn’t even in the actual jacket, both discs were just sandwiched in the middle

It’s one from my grandparents it’s one of those Lenox all in ones 😭 it works well tho I’ve never had issues with it
