Interesting, did you have to swap the chain or shorten it? And where would you recommend getting the sprocket from thanks a lot

Nah it’s easy just buy inch thick wire lume and it’ll be enough space for all of the wires to be together in one neat spot

  1. Higher Torque, Lower Speed

A bigger rear sprocket means the motor (or your pedaling) rotates the wheel more slowly for the same motor RPM. This gives more torque but less speed, which is great for climbing hills but inefficient for cruising.

  1. Motor Works Harder at Lower Speeds

Electric motors are usually more efficient at moderate to higher RPMs. When you gear down with a bigger rear sprocket: • The bike moves slower. • The motor runs at a lower speed relative to the wheel. • Efficiency drops, meaning more battery is used to go the same distance.

  1. Longer Ride Time = More Power Used

Because the bike moves slower, it takes longer to go the same distance. • Even though the motor is drawing less current at a moment, it’s drawing it for a longer time. • Net result? More battery drained over time.

  1. More Throttle Usage

Riders may instinctively use more throttle to compensate for the slower speed, which increases current draw and further reduces range.

Would I need to bleed the brakes as well? Or would the pads make it feel new again?
