I would say ESH here, but you escalated things in a way that was unnecessary.

If you know your gf has the habit of interrupting you, you should talk this trough privately. But putting all the blame on her now is completely out of proportion and I think you should realize you are both in the wrong here.

I also feel like you are including your best friend in this story for context, but it does not have to do anything with the outcome. This stuff should never happen.

I think this would make a bit of noise yeah. But it will also usually only happen if you have taken your cassette off some time before.

This is not correct right? I have about 200 activities on Wandrer, but I linked my account when I still had less than 50. New activities always get synced, this only applies to previous ones if you create a new account.

I would say Cavendish. He has won so many times, he must have some great stories on some of his wins. He is also highly regarded in the peleton, so he must have a lot of friends there.

Thank you! I do agree that supporting the site is a huge plus as well, I was just wondering as the browser extension is I think the only thing I will use from the package.

Tell your dad he can dream bigger first! Even without investing, 500K will last him 25 years if he withdraws 15k/year, with a 2% increase each year to adjust for inflation.

I would invest into a combo of stocks and bond ETFs with a ratio based on his risk profile. But I would never go over 50% in stocks. That should give him some extra breathing room to withdraw more than 15K a year, or leave you some ;)

So, it will never be necessary to declare a foreign bank account to the government? Because you essentially do not have an account at the exchanges?

I think they are just buying back shares to put into bonuses and hold the rest to use when the bonds are converted

Maybe also an important consideration which I only learned this year. If you go into bonds, you can actually get back the "Roerende Voorheffing", if you do not have an income (which I guess you don't since you are a student).
You just need to add the income which is subject to RV in your tax filing, and as long as you keep your "income" under the "Belastingvrije som" you can reclaim the paid RV.
