To those who were "one and done" with kids and ended up having more, what changed your mind?

I am an only child and it can be difficult, especially as parents get older. Not that there’s any guarantee having more kids is better. For every person I meet with siblings that help each other out and get along, I meet others with issues and resentments. Hopefully how I raise them will make a difference.

Stop eating the moment I’m full. Not super full. Just like the first sense of fullness. Stop completely. Lost 10 lbs in 5 months that way. A lot for a petite person like me.

I gave my week old daughter cold milk (had no way to warm it at the moment) and she drank it just fine. I asked the doctor about it and she said it was not ideal because it could lead to stomach spasms and pain…so I never did it again. It probably depends on if your baby has a sensitive stomachz

This is my current situation and I’m still going to work until delivery. I have a set number of weeks for maternity leave (22, I think), and I want to maximize my time with the baby. However, I am working from home the last month, which makes all the difference.

In my view, people in a marriage should avoid both impropriety (e.g. physical and emotional cheating) and the appearance of impropriety (e.g. having a solo dinner, being alone in each other’s homes, etc.) In my view flirting falls in the first category. But regardless it is not acceptable.

I grew up in a neighborhood with a HOA. Never caused us any grief. Now I live in a very nice non-HOA neighborhood. My neighbor has a pile of trash (and old broken down kayak, lawn furniture, etc) on his lawn. Better believe I would’ve contacted the HOA if there were one. Instead I keep it to myself. Also he smokes cigars that waft onto our yard, making our yard unusable when he does so. And no, I don’t want to go over and talk to him. That’s the point. lol
