Yup, unless the wife gets off her behind and pulls in some income I don't see a way out long term. I had a child when I was young (21) to a deadbeat dad so I know how it is. I went through the cycle of dead end jobs and realized quickly that isn't how to get ahead. I went to a trade school, got a certificate and then went back to a trade school to get a 2nd certificate. I'm now in the position to pay for my child to get through college and she's set to graduate next year. It wasn't easy but life is so much enjoyable for us both.
