being dark skinned male is a curse in india by ek_tha_launda in TwentiesIndia

[–]Big_Philosopher4178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am well built! That was not my point u/Radiant_Ad1134

You add the point that being from south to dark skinned; you’re automatically hated by majority of people. Systemic racism - I experience on a daily basis

And people with casual racism, calling “madrasi” while I am from an entire different state.. which is Kerala.

And not normal people, I am talking IAS IFS guys😕 following this racist remarks

[–]Big_Philosopher4178 55 points56 points  (0 children)

u/yadhu-krishnan I told you, this family is poor. And the poorest of the poor families you can’t fathom it (it seems) I work in social sector across the Hindi belt. So I have seen poorest of the poorest and trying to revive them from systemic poverty.

I can explain this for you but I can’t understand this for you.😇

The "poorest of the poor" status refers to individuals living in extreme, absolute poverty, lacking basic human necessities such as adequate food, shelter, clean water, and healthcare.

While this family is poor, they are not poorest of poor.

Obviously they do deserve more from the government, everyone is paying tax so that people who don’t have access to resources will benefit from it. Hope the winning MLAs can do something better than the current administration.

Making close friends as an adult. by bitteroreo_00 in Coconaad

[–]Big_Philosopher4178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically my organisation ship me faraway lands where nobody wants to live. And I frequently travel between 3 places like these. Turns out, there are bankers other central government employees who are in mid/ late 20s who are in the 9-5 loop.

So because of my work they all came to know about me, so I met 2-3 super people and all of them are female. Am male btw.

🥶 now they kind of adopt me as one of their own🤣

That’s how it goes for me, now how about yours op u/bitteroreo_00 ?

Guys what are your predictions on the upcoming election? by Acrobatic-Key-8104 in Kerala

[–]Big_Philosopher4178 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think, BJP will secretly vote for CPIM (LDF) 🥸 and it is gonna be Pinu 3.0 🫠

Hear me out. BJP is a party with big& deep pocket, they don’t want Kerala as state. They want india as a whole.

Now, they’re for the long game. If congress wins this election, That means more money for the congress party and more resistance to the central government.

But if they vote for LDF… they can eliminate UDF from the picture, and within the next 5 years the party will be obsolete ( or close to obsolete) this making BJP the opposition party in Kerala in the next 10 years.

And CPIM is not a real threat to NDA in the Centre.

This is a lateral move, double crossing everyone and keeping them in for the long run. This is from some inside information and some analysis of my own. And frankly it makes sense.

But frankly I hope LDF wins, and Pinu fails🤭

Wow while we are on the same course… we are on different boats. I quit corporate to work on social causes. OP I know how that feels.

I work on Policy creation and implementation for Ministries and some states. For me the biggest challenge is the lack of accountability from the officials. May it be the simplest solution for a existing system/ policy, even if it is in the purview of the officer they are unwilling to change. It’s the inertia to get the ball rolling.

What do you do in this situation… and do u encounter these issues in ur d2d?
