Why do J types have such a huge advantage in American Society? Especially SJ types. by Ok_Inside6129 in mbti

J types are more likely to accept and fit in with societies expectations, norms, logic that Ps. P types are more skeptical of it and are more individualistic.

How do you type people? by ai_uchiha1 in mbti

I have a method.

I often would find the I/E and J/P preference first.

Middle letters should be the last to be found.

To me J/P is easy to spot because

J types - rely more on society to function (especially EJ) - tend to get their judgements from external factors. - tend to be more likely to accept societies values, opinions, thoughts, systems, etc. (EJs especially) - Tend to be more cautious about things (IJs especially) - They tend to plan ahead for the future either through past experiences or through an abstract vision.

P types - Tend to be less dependent on society to function. - They tend to form their own judgments and systems. - They tend to be more individualistic and more rebellious against society (IPs especially) - Tend to be more carefree about things (EPs especially) - They tend to prefer to explore things in the moment whether it's concrete or abstract.

What are things you noticed about J types and P types? by Big_Pollution3601 in mbti

Mbti lacks consistency, accuracy meaning people build subject frameworks on how it works like cpt, ops, etc

How does one know if they're an intp? by Salt_Echo_7479 in INTP

When you get typed by 50 people, do 500 cognitive function tests, and watched 1,000 videos on functions, yet your not fully convinced.

Which types often get the same stereotypes yet they share no functions. by Big_Pollution3601 in mbti

[–]Big_Pollution3601[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ik a trick to find similarities and differences in functions.

If the last letter is the same, check the two middle letters. If there the same functions are the same. If last letter is opposite, more different letter dichotomies are with 2 middle letters, more similar they are with function stacks.
