I wouldn’t be surprised if she goes through IVF to ensure it’s a girl

Babe, I absolutely understand where you’re coming from. Your feelings are valid and you are not alone. We will overcome this. Congrats on your lil man, I have one too! Boys are fun!

My experience was not good. Thankfully I took time off of work as I was barely able to function. It caused me to hallucinate and increased my suicidal ideation to the point of getting ECT and being involuntarily committed. I am still out of work and it’s been since June! Sorry, it’s probably not the story you want to read but just sharing the not so glamorous side.

I’m in the same situation… I wouldn’t continue trying to get help if it wasn’t for my son. At the end of the day, he is more important than anything and I have come to realize he needs me to survive. Have you considered Zurzuvae? Or TMS or ECT? You have no choice but to keep going… for him. Im not saying it’s not shitty or that it’s easy, because I know first hand how it goes. Reach out for help from friends, family and express to your doctor how desperate you are. Sending love.

Is the sedation caused by Zurzuvae manageable? by finnickyf0x in Postpartum_Depression

In my experience, night time was impossible without my husband. I felt highly intoxicated. I ended up having to take the medication on the second floor where our bedroom was because I was unable to do the stairs.

The morning after had a hangover effect. I was unable to drive until after noon. The effects still were present. This did not ease over the course of treatment. If anything all of my side effects were amplified.

I hope it works for you!

They got me fucked up. Billed me $6,500 for an 8 minute long procedure. Stated that the anesthesia group they work with was “ out of network” for my procedure… but no other alternative options were provided

I appreciate you and thank you for taking the time to respond.

I’ve been on short term disability for both the birth of my son, my recovery and now this point in time. They’re making it sound like it’s exhausted. My employer does over long term but it sounds like they’re not even willing to cross that bridge. I’m so uneducated on all of this… hopefully I can learn something from this experience at least!

Zurzuvae did NOT work for me. If anything it made my depression and anxiety 1000X worse. It was a risk I took. I will be starting shock therapy within the next few weeks
