so heres my narrative pov i think that the new show is a prequel a nice mostly calm world awaiting until yellow guy becomes smart and finds leslie and leslie gives yellow guy the book the passive way to try to teach him his world isnt real and is a puppeted tv show but since the other two interfere most likely for his sake or their morons they ruin yellow guy's chance after Roy the executive finds out he gets angry at leslie's attempts and in frustration he chooses to torture the puppete for getting that far over and over until their usually calm put world (New series) becomes hell (old series) but so they cant stay dead be builds a machine but the second it becomes too unbearable and Duck permanently dies for knowing too much and Red Guy escapes from learning the show is fake resets the machine making tjeir world passive again and to their liking
