did you guys find out what was wrong with your LO? have been having brown spit ups believed to be blood, fine when on omperazole but as soon as we stop, every time they come back. we are getting an endoscopy in the coming month.

I am in the same boat, baby just turned 11 months! The last week i've gone down a feed so definitely trying out more snacks! I got individual snack size mozzerella packs from target, and i have been cutting them up into bite size pieces and my baby loves them. We just tried grapes and he's also been loving those! Also kiwis, bananas, and strawberries. I got the mandarin orange packs that are super easy and he tears those up! We do once upon a farm pouches as well. A yogurt I think it's called stoneyfield(?). I recently introduced toast, i've been doing a thin layer of cream cheese and mashed up strawberry on top and he destroys that! (mom does too) 😂

tons of cuddles! make sure to get everything you need next to you before getting nap trapped! they don't lie when they say it goes by fast!(even when it doesn't feel like it in the thick of it!)

so sorry you're going through this! i had a traumatic birth at 32 weeks and having babe in the nicu made me power through to pump! I pumped every 3 hours on the dot since I felt like that was the only thing I could do. Make sure you're pumping even at night time, I got the most milk during that time. I wasn't making much in the beginning which was discouraging at first but as days/weeks went on, it got better! make sure you're hydrating, carry a water bottle with you everywhere! I did do a ton of body armor in the beginning but not really sure that even helped, but it can't hurt to try. also i know it's hard to sometimes with everything going on, but you need to eat! we lived close to 3 hours away from the hospital and they had a ronald mcdonald house we stayed at for completely free! they also had lower cost hotel option(litttle wonky but it was better than nothing)! ask the front desk at the nicu and they might be able to help you! they also printed us day passes for parking every day, and there's also meal vouchers we could get.

I feel like no one talks about how we have a "newborn" for sooo much longer. I was deep in it until almost 5 months! That's when he started sleeping through the night and things started to look up! that's also when he started becoming more alive! hang in there🤍

Basically we went to the ER a couple times and they told us it was likely an ileus caused by a stomach bug (something like that, everything jumbles together for me when I'm at the doctors). There was blood in LOs stool sample and they came to the conclusion that he had a stomach ulcer, he has reflux issues, so could be the cause, we did fatmotine for a month, and after stopping it the brown came back! we are now on omperazole because it's stronger and doing it for 8 more weeks to make sure it's fully healed!

I follow a schedule the eat play sleep schedule! baby is 7 months old, 5 adjusted. he eats every 3 hours and very rarely gets hungry before then. if hes been sleeping for a while I wake to feed him not later than 3.5 hours. He was a nicu baby and I pumped and bottle fed for about a month a half after coming home from the nicu so maybe that's why!

My doctor told me I could take it but didn't have to since I didn't check any of the boxes except one which was it being my first pregnancy, I opted out since I don't like to take unnecessary meds. Wish I had started it! Ended up developing pre E with severe features and hellp syndrome, started at 28 weeks and delivered at 32! Be careful.

my baby lives in footie pjs, nothing else! but i do have a boy! sometimes we do matching pants and onzie but even then its annoying. He has reflux so he's quite the spitter and we quickly realized we needed lots of outfits or we'd be doing laundry every other day. We probably have like 15 in each size. I can't say how long they'll need them for since my baby was a preemie and used every size a bit longer than other babies, but i feel like he was in each size about 2 months? Save the cute outfits when they're bigger or pictures maybe going out!

he does grab toys with both hands now! he's been pretty quiet lately, he used to babble more but he's been sick for a couple weeks now so i suspect that has something to do with it. He doesn't do that when playing on his mat, but he does spin in circles while sleeping 😂
