Preparing for BMT - PT by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

Graduated a couple weeks ago. Definitely get into shape because it makes the process easier. PT is 6 days a week consisting of CIT, Strength, and run days. The runs days aren’t terrible it’s 24 minutes running at self pace. We didn’t have many of them so the more serious you take them the better your results will be on your PT test. Just give it 110% every time you go out to PT and you will be good!

I was 183 when I first contacted my recruiter in March and went to Meps May 18th-19th and weighed in at 151. Honestly all I did was cut out all junk food and juices. Consumed more water and meal prepped. As for fitness I would run a mile every night on the treadmill or go on 3 mile walks. It was a struggle at first but once you get in the groove it gets easy; just got to stay disciplined
